2,671 points in my account, but only 0.03 counts on the leaderboard I checked my account this morning: I have 2,671 season points, but only 0.03 available. I’ve put all my points into weekend matches, and I even lost a 50-point bet last night. On the leaderboard, my row simply says “Unranked.” A lot of people haven’t noticed this rule: rankings only count available points and points frozen in open orders. Points tied up in positions don’t count at all. Until a match is over, those points basically don’t exist for the seasonal rankings. They come back after settlement. So don’t panic when you check the rankings over the next couple of days. Yesterday afternoon, the cutoff for 20,000th place in the seasonal rankings was still 2,430; this morning it dropped to 2,000. The leader’s score also fell from 660,000 to 520,000. My guess is that there are lots of weekend matches, so everyone has put their points into bets. This morning’s cutoffs: Seasonal rankings: 5,000th place 4,447; 10,000th place 3,470; 20,000th place 2,000 Weekly rankings: 5,000th place +1,234; 8,000th place approximately +554 Two reminders. Today, Saturday, the check-in bonus is 30 points; tomorrow, Sunday, it’s 40 points—the two highest-scoring days of the week, so don’t miss them. Also, positions that haven’t settled by the season’s end on 11/15 won’t count for points. In these final few days, check match start times before placing your bets. Are you saving your points or betting them all? $BNB #币安神算子 #预测市场

Binance Predictor Week 2 is halfway over. I took a look at the cutoff scores (around 9:30 a.m. Beijing time on 10/30): Weekly leaderboard (P&L from bets this week) Rank 1,000: +5,223 Rank 5,000: +992 Rank 8,000: +465 (the lowest prize tier) Season leaderboard (total points) Rank 1,000: 9,438 Rank 5,000: 4,205 Rank 10,000: 3,263 Rank 20,000: 2,217 Last week, the cutoff for rank 8,000 on the weekly leaderboard ended at +806. It rose fastest in the few days before the deadline, so this week it will probably end up above +800. On the season leaderboard, rank 20,000 had 1,463 points four days ago and now has 2,217—an increase of nearly 190 per day. It’s getting a bit tough to keep up with just the daily task points. One more thing: Binance suspended deposits and withdrawals after last night’s incident, but I just tested the Predictor’s points market, and orders are still going through as usual. I’ll update the final cutoff scores after the deadline at 8 a.m. on Monday. #币安神算子 #预测市场

Binance Oracle Week 1 closed at 8 a.m. this morning. As promised, here are the score thresholds updated every Monday (the figures after the official refresh at around 8:20 a.m. Beijing time). Weekly leaderboard (only settled betting P&L from this week counts; task points don't): Rank 1: +2.02 million Rank 100: +41,000 Rank 1,000: +6,772 Rank 5,000: +1,304 Rank 8,000: +806 (last prize-winning rank, 5 USDC) Season leaderboard (only available points count; unsettled positions don't): Rank 1: 372,000 Rank 1,000: 8,290 Rank 5,000: 2,913 Rank 10,000: 2,241 Rank 20,000: 1,463 (last prize-winning rank, 7 USDC) A few observations from this week: The cutoff for rank 8,000 on the weekly leaderboard rose very quickly: +58 on Friday morning, +228 on Saturday, +739 on Sunday, and it closed at +806. The person in first place on the season leaderboard had 608,000 on Sunday afternoon, but was down to 372,000 this morning—a drop of 230,000 in less than a day. The top ranks are earned by betting, and being at the top today doesn't mean you'll still be there at the end of the season. The cutoff for rank 20,000 on the season leaderboard rose from 720 on Friday to 1,463. You can earn a little over 300 points a day just by doing tasks (check-ins + posts + trading), but this cutoff has recently been rising by 100 to 400 points a day, so it's tough to keep up with tasks alone. I ranked 6,967th in Week 1, with net betting profits of +1,009.67—just enough to make the top 8,000. There was a bit of a scare along the way: my last bet, which settled at 6:22 a.m. Beijing time this morning (it was still Sunday in UTC, so it counts toward Week 1), initially didn't appear on the leaderboard. My row showed only +581, leaving me outside the top 8,000. It was added after the official refresh at around 8:20. So don't rush to conclusions after the cutoff—wait for the final refresh. I'm currently ranked 7,891st on the season leaderboard. Week 2 started counting from 8 a.m. this morning. Bets that hadn't settled by 8 a.m. Monday Beijing time won't count as a loss or a profit this week; they'll count in the week when they settle. For the daily trading task, don't use stablecoin pairs labeled “zero fees” (USDC/USDT and similar pairs don't count). Just buy and sell once on a regular trading pair like $BNB to reach the $50 volume requirement. Did you make the weekly leaderboard in Week 1? #币安神算子 #预测市场

Will JCT Pump Next Month? I’m Bullish, but 2.98 Billion Tokens Just Entered KuCoinJCT has nearly tripled since the start of October, rising from 0.001746 at the beginning of the month to 0.00694 now. My take: the real pump is about to begin in November. But something major happened on-chain over the past two days, and I need to clarify it first: the six wallets I’ve repeatedly said had “not moved a single token,” along with another nine wallets, deposited a total of 2.98 billion JCT into KuCoin in the early hours of October 25. Here’s the bottom line: · I’m bullish on November: big players in the futures market are heavily positioned long, with an average cost around 0.0048. Retail traders are 60% short, so there’s still fuel for a rally. · But overhead, there are 2.98 billion tokens that just entered exchanges, plus the November 10 unlock.

Day 7 of Binance Predictor: How exactly are the weekly rankings calculated? I checked against my own account Someone asked in the comments yesterday: Are the weekly rankings based on “available points” or “how much you’ve won from betting”? Do unsettled positions count as losses? Today I checked the numbers against my own account, and the answer is clear: 1. The weekly rankings only count the profit and loss from “settled” bets. I settled 4 matches this week. Winnings minus the purchase cost = +459.77, and the weekly leaderboard showed +459.34. A difference of just 0.4—close enough to match. 2. Unsettled positions count as neither a loss nor a win. I still have positions worth about 640 points that haven’t settled, and the weekly leaderboard hasn’t deducted a single point. 3. Points from tasks like check-ins, posting, and trading don’t count toward the weekly rankings, only the seasonal rankings. 4. The seasonal rankings only count “available points”; holdings don’t count. At around 2 p.m. this afternoon, my season points on the page were 1,943, but the seasonal leaderboard only counted 1,006. The difference of 937 is the value of my holdings. So there are two things to keep in mind: · This week’s cutoff is Monday at 7:59:59 a.m. (Beijing time). Barcelona vs. Real Madrid kicks off at 4 a.m. Monday, so the settlement time will be very close to the cutoff. If it doesn’t settle in time, the profit or loss will most likely count toward next week. · Before the final day of the season (November 16 at 7:59:59 a.m. Beijing time), you’ll need to either wait for your positions to settle or sell them. Otherwise, they’ll just sit there doing nothing on the seasonal leaderboard. The rankings at around 2 p.m. today: Seasonal leaderboard: Rank 20,000: 1,346 / Rank 10,000: 2,088 / Rank 5,000: 2,498 / Rank 1,000: 6,658 Weekly leaderboard: Rank 8,000: +739 / Rank 5,000: +997 / Rank 1,000: +5,114 Yesterday morning, the 20,000th place on the seasonal leaderboard was still at 935. It rose by 411 in just over a day. Even if you only do tasks, you can earn just over 300 points a day (check-in + 100 for posting + 200 for trading), so it’s already getting hard to keep up. For the trading task, I just made one spot buy and sell using $BNB to reach the $50 requirement. Stablecoin pairs tagged “0 trading fees” don’t count, so don’t waste your time. Day 7 of Binance Predictor: How exactly are the weekly rankings calculated? I checked against my own account

Someone asked in the comments yesterday: Are the weekly rankings based on “available points” or “how much you’ve won from betting”? Do unsettled positions count as losses?
Today I checked the numbers against my own account, and the answer is clear:

1. The weekly rankings only count the profit and loss from “settled” bets. I settled 4 matches this week. Winnings minus the purchase cost = +459.77, and the weekly leaderboard showed +459.34. A difference of just 0.4—close enough to match.

So there are two things to keep in mind:
· This week’s cutoff is Monday at 7:59:59 a.m.

The rankings at around 2 p.m. today:
Seasonal leaderboard: Rank 20,000: 1,346 / Rank 10,000: 2,088 / Rank 5,000: 2,498 / Rank 1,000: 6,658
Weekly leaderboard: Rank 8,000: +739 / Rank 5,000: +997 / Rank 1,000: +5,114

Weekly leaderboard: 8,000th place has +228, up from +58 yesterday; 1,000th place has +2,376.

The cutoff has risen by more than 200 points in a day. If you only do the tasks, you can earn a little over 300 points a day at most (check-in + 100 for posting + 200 for trading), which is just enough to keep up. Miss a day and you’ll fall behind.

One reminder: rankings only count available points and points frozen in open orders. The value of your holdings doesn’t count. Before Sunday night, either close your positions or wait for them to settle.

How many points do you have now?

10/24 Daily MACD Golden Cross Report: 18 Coins Cross; BIRB Doubles Again the Next Day; Previous Surge Group Falls 30% in 3 DaysAfter the daily candle closed at 8 a.m. this morning, 18 coins on Binance Futures had a daily MACD golden cross. For all of them, it was the first daily candle after the cross. As usual, they’re divided into three groups based on their performance on the day of the golden cross. The takeaway: BIRB was the strongest, doubling again the morning after the golden cross. But historically, people who chase moves like this mostly lose money at first. The surge group from the previous report fell around 30% in just 3 days. ▍Review of the previous report The October 21 cohort had 17 coins. From the close on the day of the golden cross to 10:30 a.m. today, only 3 were up; the average was down 4.3%.

IRYS Is Up Nearly 10x in Five Days: Korean Retail Investors Are Buying, and Shorts Are Getting LiquidatedIRYS hit a low of 0.01168 on October 18 and a high of 0.11879 today—nearly a 10x gain in five days. Today’s daily candle alone is up more than 4x, from 0.02059 to 0.1154 (at 00:57 Beijing time). Binance futures trading volume today was $1.2 billion, 1,229 times the usual level. On the day AKE took off, it was 369 times the usual level; for RAVE, it was 161 times. When a coin rises this much, the key question is: who’s buying? I looked into futures, Korean exchanges, and token unlocks. ▍First, a quick explainer: How to tell who’s driving the move You only need to look at two things. First, which is more expensive: futures or spot. If futures are much more expensive than spot, that means futures are driving the move; if they’re about the same, spot is keeping up.

TAKE’s shorts are trapped: I think it’ll wick down to the low first, then rise hundreds of times like AKEHonestly, I think the shorts in TAKE are trapped. My guess is that next it will first wick down near the low, shake out the people crowded into longs, and then rise hundreds of times like AKE. This is my assessment, not a fact. Below, I’ll lay out all the data I can find, including evidence both for and against my view. ▍First, a quick explainer: how to tell whether shorts are trapped In contracts, every short position opened has a long position on the other side, so the total long and short open interest is always equal. If open interest increases, it means someone is opening new positions; if it decreases, someone is closing positions or getting liquidated.
