🧠 The secret sauce? A deep learning model that focuses on "subgraphs" - chains of transactions indicating Bitcoin laundering. This approach zeroes in on the broader laundering process, not just individual illicit wallets.

🔍 Testing this technique with an undisclosed crypto exchange, they predicted 52 "money laundering" subgraphs. 14 were confirmed linked to flagged users - a strong performance given less than 1 in 10,000 accounts are usually flagged.

💡 The data (200M+ transactions) is now public, inviting the community to develop new AI methods for spotting illegal crypto activities.
