Solana Meme Coin Increased 15x After Listing From Cryptocurrency Exchange!
An unexpected price movement was seen shortly after the popular cryptocurrency exchange Bybit listed dogwifhat (WIF).
Bybit listed WIF on April 29. Approximately 10 minutes after listing, the WIF price increased by 1,450%, from $2.70 to $41.85.
The sudden and exciting rise was short-lived and the price returned to its normal course within about 1-2 minutes.
Although it is not clear why this sudden price movement occurred, the 1,450% increase in question was limited only to Bybit. WIF price never reached $41.85 on Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges.
Similar movements in altcoin prices were observed in some cryptocurrency exchanges in the past period due to low volume.
According to CoinGecko data, WIF, which has increased by 0.3% in the last 24 hours, is traded at $ 2.64 at the time of writing.
