Golden Finance reported that Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark (CLSK) purchased 12,500 Bitcoin mining equipment for US$40.5 million, according to a press release on Thursday. These machines will add 1.76 exahash/s (EH/s) of computing power to CleanSpark, bringing them closer to their goal of 16 EH/s by the end of 2023. As of the end of April, the company’s computing power was 6.7 EH/s. The press release stated that the first batch of 6,000 Antminer S19 XP units will be shipped by the manufacturer in June, and the rest will be shipped in August.
