According to Odaily, Morgan Stanley has disclosed in its Q1 13F filing to the SEC that it has invested $269.9 million in a Bitcoin ETF through Grayscale GBTC. Data from Fintel indicates that this investment makes Morgan Stanley one of the largest holders of GBTC, following Susquehanna International Group, which invested $1 billion.
Morgan Stanley is among several Global Systemically Important Banks (G-SIBs) that have disclosed investments in Bitcoin ETFs. Other banks include Royal Bank of Canada, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, BNP Paribas, and UBS Group.
