😱New comment from ETF expert: All 3 spot Bitcoin applications will be postponed
Famous ETF analyst James Seyffart gave new information with a tweet and stated that the SEC will decide on 3 spot ETF applications in the coming days. Seyffart stated that he expects these 3 applications to be postponed as well.
While the cryptocurrency world is waiting for Bitcoin spot ETFs to be approved as soon as possible, new information has come from James Seyffart, a well-known Bloomberg ETF analyst.
Seyffart, in the information he shared from his X account, stated that a decision will be made by the SEC on two spot Bitcoin ETF applications on November 17 and one on November 21.
The SEC will make a decision on the spot Bitcoin ETF applications of Hashdex and Franklin Templeton companies on November 17, and Global X company on November 21. Seyffart stated that he expects the institution to make a postponement decision in all 3 applications.
"Our ideas have not changed”
Despite this postponement decision, Seyffart stated that his views that spot ETFs will be approved by 90 percent at the beginning of 2024 have not changed. “Our opinion as Bloomberg analysts has not changed about the 90 percent approval rate we expect on January 10, 2024,” he said.
On the other hand, ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood, who sharply criticized the SEC and its chairman Gary Gensler yesterday, stated in an interview yesterday that the motivation for Gensler's postponement and rejection decisions may be his goal to become US Treasury Secretary.
