Trading mindset: How to deal with the emotions of trading losses?

Why do we have such extreme painful emotions after a trading failure? The essence of the reason is that what we want (internal environment) and what happens in reality (external environment) do not echo each other.

When they do not echo each other, we will feel dissatisfaction and frustration and other emotional pain. Note that these two emotions are one of the biggest threats to a trader and the biggest enemy to achieving financial freedom.

For example, flipping a coin, 800 times heads, 200 times tails, then what will be the next time, heads or tails? The cruel reality of trading is that the outcome of each trade is uncertain, we have to learn to fully accept the possibility of uncertainty, otherwise we will always feel emotional pain.

For most people, the result of flipping a coin wrong, should not make them associate with the pain accumulated from making mistakes in life. Trading is a long road, the local wins and losses are like a passing cloud, it is really a trivial matter.

Being too attached to the gains and losses of a certain trade, and being heartbroken or talking about it, is not a smart, rational attitude.
