In the past few hours, the MetaMask application was removed from Apple's App Store. In the past, many cryptocurrency wallet applications were removed from the App Store because they did not meet Apple's requirements.
MetaMask's Chief Product Officer, Taylor Monahan, shared the following words after these events:
"We are aware of what's happening, working to understand what it is, and trying to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
This issue only affects those trying to re-download the application from the App Store. And we will resolve this issue very shortly."

As Taylor Monahan explained, the process unfolded as follows. Just minutes ago, MetaMask posted the following tweet on their official account and announced that the MetaMask application has been reinstated on the App Store:
"As promised, we are back on the App Store. We apologize for the inconvenience caused!"
When the popular cryptocurrency hardware wallet MetaMask first encountered this crisis, they shared the following announcement:
"Notice: We are aware that MetaMask is not currently available for download from the App Store. This is not related to any malicious activity, and our team is working diligently to resolve this as quickly as possible.
