PANews reported on October 8 that according to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin mining company Marathon produced a total of 1,242 BTC in September, an increase of 16% from August and 245% from September 2022. The sharp surge in BTC output came from the company's installed hash rate increasing from 3.8 EH/s in September 2022 to 23.1 EH/s, an increase of 508%.

CleanSpark, a Bitcoin miner, produced 643 BTC in September and 6,903 BTC in the fiscal year from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023, which is the company's best performance to date. Meanwhile, Riot Platforms, a Bitcoin miner, increased its BTC production by 9% month-on-month, producing 362 BTC in September, while the company "strategically reduced mining operations."
