Trump mentioned in his speech that during his four-year term, the price of Bitcoin soared 3,900%, from $898 at the beginning of his term to $35,900 at the end of his term. This growth is one of the largest in all industries. In stark contrast, under the Biden-Harris administration, Bitcoin's growth rate in three and a half years was only 50% after deducting inflation. While a 50% growth rate usually looks impressive, it pales in comparison to the nearly 4,000% increase.

A surprising fact is that the US government is one of the largest holders of Bitcoin. Trump pointed out, "Does anyone know that the federal government holds nearly 210,000 Bitcoins, accounting for 1% of the total supply of Bitcoin? However, for a long time, our government has violated the basic rule that every Bitcoin user knows by heart: Never sell your Bitcoin."
Trump’s Bitcoin Policy
Trump further announced that if he is re-elected, his administration will adopt a policy to retain 100% of all Bitcoin currently held or acquired by the U.S. government in the future. This will become the core of the National Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
