Today Market Update
The cryptocurrency market is showing signs of stabilization after yesterday’s sharp sell-off, with the total market capitalization holding near $2.46 trillion. Bitcoin continues to dominate the market with around 59.6% share, while Ethereum holds close to 9.8%. Although the overall market remains mostly flat over the last 24 hours, altcoins have slightly weakened, reflecting cautious investor sentiment.
Market leverage is also declining, as global derivatives open interest dropped nearly 5–6% in the last day and around 18% over the past week. This follows heavy liquidations worth nearly $1 billion after Bitcoin briefly fell below $73,000. Geopolitical tensions involving the US and Iran, along with large ETF outflows, especially from BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, contributed to the pressure. Current market sentiment remains mildly bearish but not extremely negative.
Despite the uncertainty, several cryptocurrencies are performing strongly. Stellar (XLM), Hedera (HBAR), Algorand (ALGO), Allora (ALLO), and Solstice (SLX) posted impressive gains, showing that investors are still interested in selected projects with strong narratives. $BCH 📈 JUST RIPPED 31% — NOW THE REAL TEST BEGINS 🚀

#Bitcoincash has made a serious move in the last 24 hours, jumping more than 31% and pushing price toward $355. That kind of move completely changes the short-term structure, but after such a sharp rally, chasing the candle can become dangerous.

What catches my attention is the huge increase in activity. BCH’s 24-hour volume jumped above $1.7B, while market cap added roughly $1.7B in a single day. The move also came alongside the launch of BCH futures on CME, giving traders another way to take positions on the asset.

Now the interesting part is what happens after the breakout.

The AI forecasts mentioned in the report are split. One model sees BCH reaching around $368.50 by October 1, while another projects a pullback toward $320.50. Finbold’s combined forecast points toward approximately $344.50, around 3% below the reported $355 level.

Personally, I’d be watching how BCH behaves around the $350–$355 area after this explosive move.

If buyers keep defending higher levels, the market could attempt $368–$370 next.

But if momentum fades and profit-taking starts, $344 becomes an important area, with deeper weakness potentially bringing $320 into focus.

After a 31% daily candle, the next move matters more than the move that already happened.

My view: $78K is the key short-term support. If BTC holds above it and reclaims $80K, buyers could target $82K again. A clean break below $78K could open the door toward $76K–$77K.
