Picture this: BTC is bleeding 0.58%, the crowd is leaning hard bearish, and someone still steps in for a 5-minute scalp predicting a close above the previous candle.
That is where most traders get hurt. They see a 99% Down bias and assume the trade is obvious, then they chase the crowd or fade it too late and pay for the certainty.
What stood out here was the setup, not the conviction. The window was tiny, just 12:05PM to 12:10PM ET, and the market was already pricing in panic with only 1% Up against 99% Down on just $2,147.12 in volume. That kind of imbalance can look persuasive, but in short-term BTC action it often means the move is crowded, fragile, and easy to reverse.
