The official announcement confirms what many people in Maracaibo had been demanding loudly: the TZ7 unit at the Termozulia Power Plant is closer to resuming the generation of energy. From Houston, Texas, a critical component— a wheel of approximately one ton— will arrive that, according to the sector vice president for Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, will allow the technical work phase that has already advanced under the National Plan to Increase Efficiency of the National Electric System to be completed.
