$UAI Crashes 33.4% on 2.6x Volume — Smart Money Accumulation or a Liquidity Trap?
$UAI has experienced a sharp 33.4% decline, accompanied by a 2.6x volume increase. However, this aggressive sell-off may represent a liquidity sweep into a key demand area rather than confirmed bearish distribution.
Here is my trading outlook:
1. Market Structure: My 1H bias remains cautiously bullish. Despite the massive drop, the short-term higher-low structure is still holding. However, the daily and weekly trends remain bearish, making this a counter-trend opportunity rather than a confirmed trend reversal.
2. Key Demand Zone: The 0.1042–0.1088 area is crucial. I want to see price sweep liquidity below 0.1042 and reclaim the zone, followed by a bullish engulfing candle or a market structure shift on the 5M/15M timeframe.
3. Potential Upside Targets:
- TP1: 0.1379
- TP2: 0.1436
- TP3: 0.1621
- TP4: 0.1733
These levels become relevant only if buyers successfully defend demand and reclaim short-term structure.
4. Risk Management: No blind entries during a falling market. I would look for confirmation around 0.1088–0.1042 and position protection beyond the invalidation structure. A confirmed 1H close below 0.1042 would invalidate my bullish setup and shift the bias toward further downside.
5. Derivatives Flow:
- Open Interest: $6.5M, down 41.4% over 24 hours.
- Funding Rate: +0.0050%.
- Taker Buy/Sell Ratio: 1.08x.
The significant OI contraction suggests substantial position unwinding. The positive funding and taker ratio provide additional context, but they do not independently confirm accumulation.
My Strategy: I am watching the 0.1042–0.1088 demand zone closely. Let liquidity get swept, wait for buyers to confirm their strength, and avoid chasing an early rebound.
Is
$UAI preparing for a relief rally, or will sellers push it toward another low?
