Pump. fun is issuing more tokens, but only those that have reached a market value of 79SOL through the bond curve mechanism are eligible for #issuance . When a token is issued, $17,000 worth of liquidity is added to the Raydium pool, which is then burned.
More than 2.87 million SOLs are currently locked in these liquidity pools. This mechanism helps protect against carpet bombing.
