🇬🇧 UK RAISES INTEREST RATES TO 4%: FIRST INCREASE IN MORE THAN THREE YEARS On 05/11/2026 at 12:00 UTC, the Bank of England announced an increase in its benchmark interest rate from 3.75% to 4.00% per year, a rise of 25 basis points. 📊 The key figures: • New rate: 4.00% per year. • Decision: 8 votes in favor of a 25-basis-point increase and 1 vote in favor of a larger, 50-basis-point increase. • UK inflation: 3.5% in September. • Central bank forecast: inflation close to 5% in mid-2027. 🌍 What is the impact on Bitcoin and Ethereum? Higher interest rates can make traditional investments more attractive and tighten financial conditions, influencing the dollar, government bonds, and global appetite for risk assets. The 25-basis-point increase was already expected by the market. The main surprise was the split vote: the dissenting vote favored an even larger increase, not keeping rates unchanged. ⚠️ This does not mean BTC or ETH will necessarily fall. The reaction depends on prior expectations, liquidity, and other macroeconomic factors. 🚨 Asunción in Panic: Ueno Bank’s Collapse and Paraguay’s Systemic Crisis The institution, which manages around 3 million accounts and leads credit card issuance in Paraguay, underwent drastic revisions to its balance sheets that severely undermined its solvency ratio. 🚨 Focus Bulletin reveals pessimism: Lula’s re-election fuels inflation, interest rates, and the dollar At the same time, forecasts for the benchmark interest rate and the dollar exchange rate rose significantly, while GDP growth projections were revised down slightly. This macroeconomic adjustment reflects institutional distrust regarding the fiscal sustainability of the next term. Analysts point out that the combination of higher interest rates for longer and currency pressures is a direct result of corporate skepticism about public spending controls. Currency and fixed-income desks are operating with great caution, pricing in a challenging domestic outlook that curbs risk appetite and limits foreign capital flows into B3. For the crypto ecosystem, the impact of this macro bearish outlook is immediate. With the real weakening and local yields tied to high interest rates, institutional and retail investors are seeking to protect their capital. $BTC and the leading altcoins are being closely monitored as hedges against domestic inflation and currency volatility, while global liquidity shrinks amid restrictive monetary policies in emerging economies. 🚨 Trump’s massive tariffs paralyze Quebec’s century-old economic engine and strain global supply chains Most of the 360 employees are temporarily out of work, surviving only on partial payments from the federal tariff relief program, while workers like Nadine Suley watch the region’s stability crumble in the face of American protectionism. The operational collapse at the Quebec plant illustrates the immediate macroeconomic cost of protectionist rhetoric for industrial cities that are highly dependent on cross-border trade. WHAT COULD SURPRISE THE MARKET? 🏦 Today, at 3 p.m. Brasília time, the Federal Reserve announces its decision on U.S. interest rates. 📊 Last night, the market put the odds of rates staying between 3.75% and 4.00% at around 92%. October 29: GDP and PCE coincide on the calendar The BEA’s official calendar, checked on October 25, schedules two U.S. reports for Thursday, October 29, at 08:30 EDT, equivalent to 12:30 UTC: the advance estimate of third-quarter GDP and September personal income and outlays. These are scheduled releases; their results are not yet available. GDP measures the production of final goods and services. Real GDP adjusts for inflation. The advance estimate is an initial reading based on incomplete information; subsequent releases incorporate more data and may revise it. The second report combines income, consumption, and prices. It includes the PCE index, which measures how prices of consumer purchases change. It is worth distinguishing spending from prices: higher spending can reflect larger quantities, higher prices, or both. Core PCE excludes food and energy. The timing also matters: the FOMC meeting is scheduled for October 27 and 28. These two reports would come afterward; they are not an interest-rate announcement. China accelerates to 4.5%: investment continues to fall On October 19, China’s National Bureau of Statistics released its preliminary estimate: GDP grew 4.5% year over year in July–September 2026, up from 4.3% in the second quarter. Growth was 1.2% quarter over quarter, seasonally adjusted. These are different comparisons: year-over-year growth is measured against the same period in 2025; quarter-over-quarter growth is measured against April–June 2026. Growth for January–September was 4.6%. The details point to an uneven economy. In the first nine months of the year, retail sales of consumer goods rose 1.1%, while fixed-asset investment, excluding rural households, fell 7.2%. Within that, investment in real estate development declined 20.6%. All these changes are year over year. The distinction matters: GDP growth is calculated at constant prices, which removes the effect of price changes; sales and investment figures are nominal. They do not measure exactly the same thing. In addition, the data are preliminary, and seasonally adjusted series may be revised. The agency itself notes that insufficient domestic demand remains a problem. Market perspective: the data add context on global growth, but do not demonstrate an inflow of liquidity into crypto. The trajectory of consumption and the real estate sector will help assess how solid the improvement is. INFLATION SHOWS NO SIGN OF EASING: BONDS REBOUND AND HORMUZ WILL PUT WALL STREET TO THE TESTThe main problem in the market today is no longer just inflation, but the real ability of businesses, households, and governments to withstand persistently high borrowing costs. Although indexes like the Dow Jones and S&P 500 appear calm on the surface, the market’s underlying structure is showing strong signs of stress that directly affect risk appetite and global liquidity: 1️⃣ The U.S. macro triad (Inflation + Fed + Weak Employment): • Energy-driven inflation pressure: CPI stands at 3.7%, while PPI rose 1.3% month over month (6.3% year over year, unadjusted), driven by a 10.8% jump in the energy component, which accounted for more than 80% of the increase in goods.

🚨 Bill to End the 6x1 Work Schedule: What Could This Change for the Economy, Markets, and Crypto? 🚨 The discussion about ending the 6x1 work schedule in Brazil (reducing the workweek from 44 to 40 hours, with 2 days off) is gaining momentum and could directly affect your finances and investment strategies. Here are the key points to help you understand the situation: 📉 1. Impact on the Economy & Traditional Market (B3) Services Inflation: Companies in sectors such as retail, healthcare, and logistics will face higher operating costs due to payroll expenses. These costs are likely to be passed on to consumers through higher prices. Interest Rates (Selic Rate): With inflation under pressure, the Central Bank may keep interest rates high for longer, affecting local equities and other variable-income assets. Stocks to Watch: Companies in brick-and-mortar retail and labor-intensive services may see their margins squeezed, while the technology, e-commerce, and leisure sectors could benefit from people having more free time. 🌐 2. How Could This Affect the Crypto Market? Demand for Currency Protection: If the economic climate creates fiscal uncertainty and volatility in the Brazilian real (BRL), demand for dollar-denominated assets and global reserves may increase. Competition with Fixed Income: With local interest rates high, liquidity in Brazil's variable-income market becomes more selective, favoring established crypto assets over high-risk altcoins. 📊 3. Three Tokens to Watch in This Scenario 🟡 Bitcoin ($BTC ): The leading hedge against local inflation and currency depreciation. A global asset unaffected by regional labor policy changes. 🟢 Tether ($USDT ): A safe haven for those seeking dollar protection and capital preservation during periods of macroeconomic uncertainty. 🤖 Fetch.ai / ASI ($FET ): An investment thesis based on efficiency and automation/AI. Companies that need to cut labor costs may accelerate their investments in technology. #MacroEconomia #Brasil #pec6x1 #crypto #BinanceSquare #Bitcoin #USDT #AI

🚨 Beer Inflation: The Impact of the Price Index on Global Consumption This phenomenon reflects the persistence of structural inflationary pressures in global supply chains. Major brewing conglomerates face the inevitable need to pass costs on to end consumers to protect their balance sheets amid rising prices for barley, aluminum, and fuel. This situation erodes households’ purchasing power and reduces retail sales volumes, signaling a broader economic slowdown than official core inflation figures suggest. For fixed-income trading desks and crypto markets, pessimism (bearish sentiment) prevails. In a restrictive macroeconomic environment, institutional capital flees risk assets, pressuring global liquidity and triggering severe price corrections in $BTC and the major altcoins traded on exchanges. How do you assess the influence of these cost shocks on consumption and liquidity replenishment in the crypto market over the coming weeks? Share your analysis in the comments.
