🚨 $AMD ACCELERATES MULTI-BILLION AI SUPPLY CHAIN EXPANSION TO SATISFY MASSIVE INSTITUTIONAL DEMAND! ⚡ Institutional order flow is shifting toward long-term compute backbones as $AMD commits to expanding supply chain investments beyond 10B USD in key Asian hubs. 🔍 Smart money is tracking these multi-year foundry and memory agreements with top chipmakers to secure high-bandwidth memory positioning through 2027. $AMD A year ago, it closed at 232.9. On October 6, it hit a high of 649.4, up 179%. But this week, the daily MACD histogram has steadily shrunk from +4.39 on October 2 to -2.16 today, turning negative for the first time. I’m not focused on how much it’s fallen, but on how quickly momentum has faded. In two trading days, the price pulled back from 645.9 to around 609.7, a drop of just 5.6%, while the RSI fell from 70.7 to 57.7. The price hasn’t fallen much, but the excitement has already cooled. I’ve seen this combination many times near a peak; it usually means price will consolidate over time rather than immediately push on to new highs. Here’s how I’m looking at a few key levels. The EMA20 is at 597.5, just $12 below the current price, and the daily ATR is 23.6, meaning a normal day’s move could easily reach it. The real support is around 582, the low for the past two weeks. To the upside, the previous high of 649.4 is where my view would be invalidated. A close back above it would show that momentum just needed a breather, and I’d admit I was wrong. One more thing: today’s intraday volume was only around 7.1 million shares, compared with a 20-day average of 22.4 million. This kind of decline on shrinking volume is more grinding than a high-volume selloff. Investors aren’t rushing for the exits, but no one seems eager to buy here either. I don’t own AMD, and I’m not planning to touch it for now. In my view, after the MACD turns negative, it will most likely need to move around in the 597–582 range for a while to work off the excess heat. The long-term trend is still intact, but chasing it at these short-term highs no longer offers much upside for the risk. Personal opinion #AMD #US stocks

AMD rises to $649, while Lisa Su is still working to secure capacity This week, I’m more inclined to see AMD continue moving higher. Lisa Su said yesterday that the company plans to significantly increase chip supply next year and is still working with supply-chain partners to coordinate capacity. That makes me somewhat optimistic, as it suggests the company remains confident in future demand. This is about AMD stock on the Nasdaq. According to Reuters, Su’s trip to Taiwan is aimed at coordinating CPU and GPU production, and she is also seeking supplies from memory makers. AMD has already increased supply this year and wants to expand further next year. If demand holds up, shipping more products could bring in more revenue. But this plan has not yet translated into next year’s sales. In its second-quarter results announced in August, data-center revenue came to $6.718 billion, up 107% year over year. AMD said demand was strong for both EPYC server CPUs and Instinct GPUs. That growth is already reflected in revenue, and next I want to see whether expanded capacity can sustain it. Those older results help explain why the company wants to expand capacity, but they shouldn’t be treated as evidence that it landed new orders yesterday. AMD rose 2.80% yesterday to close at $649.42, with volume markedly higher than in the previous session. The closing price also moved above last Friday’s intraday high. The rise was backed by trading volume, and the stock held onto its gains by the close—another reason I think it could keep strengthening. It was around $647 in premarket trading today, a modest pullback for now. StreetInsider reported yesterday that Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh raised his price target from $580 to $705 and maintained an Outperform rating. $705 certainly looks appealing, but that is an analyst’s estimate, not a price AMD is guaranteed to reach this week. Whether deliveries keep pace and costs rise will both affect how much the company ultimately earns. One thing keeping me cautious is the Federal Reserve meeting minutes, due at 2 a.m. Beijing time tomorrow. If the market interprets them as signaling a stronger inclination to raise rates, investors may be willing to pay less for future growth. If AMD falls back toward $630 and continues to weaken, I’ll focus on the pullback. That area is close to yesterday’s low and the previous session’s close; if the stock falls that far, its price action after the rally will be less convincing. When AMD reports earnings again on November 3, what I’ll most want to know is how much of this demand has already translated into revenue. Capacity expansion gives me reason to be optimistic, but deliveries and profits still need to follow through. #AMD #美股 #AI chip

AI Agents Fuel CPU Comeback as Citi Raises AMD Price Target to $800For the past three years, the AI rally has been almost entirely a GPU story. Now, CPUs are back. On Tuesday, AMD shares rose about 4%, breaking above $650 intraday to hit a new all-time high, and keeping its market cap firmly in the trillion-dollar club. The immediate catalysts came from two brokerages: Citi raised its price target for AMD to $800, while Stifel lifted its target to $700. The core of Citi analysts’ thesis is that “agentic AI is bringing a revival in server CPUs.” Traditional chatbots rely mainly on GPUs for computing, while AI agents capable of working independently for hours require extensive task scheduling, tool use, and logical processing—areas where CPUs excel. The analyst believes agents could drive demand for computing power several orders of magnitude greater than chatbots, with AMD the biggest beneficiary and Intel in second place.

The S&P 500 notched its first new high since August, with AMD stealing the show 🚀 At the close on October 6, U.S. Eastern Time, the S&P 500 rose 0.58% to 7,818.95, while the Nasdaq gained 0.45% to 27,599.79. Both hit record highs, helped by declines in Treasury yields and oil prices. According to CNBC, Meta’s AI assistant Muse is gaining popularity, and the market is betting that AI agents will shift computing demand from GPUs to CPUs. Yahoo Finance reported that Citi raised its price target for AMD from $575 to $800. AMD rose as much as about 4% intraday, reaching a new high. As of 9:30 a.m. Beijing Time on October 7, AMDB, a Binance bStocks token, was trading at 652.91 USDT, up 3.22% over 24 hours (a token pegged to the share price; it does not confer shareholder rights). A note of caution: According to TheStreet, only about 25% of S&P 500 constituents are trading above their 50-day moving averages, with gains concentrated among AI leaders. If AMDB holds above 628 (its 24-hour low), the AI CPU narrative could continue to gain momentum. A decisive break below that level would suggest that momentum-chasing money is pulling out, invalidating the thesis. Will AI agents drive a CPU boom—a new cycle, or just another round of hype?
