Well, today’s leaderboard is pretty worth discussing—let me pick three to talk about.
First, Ondo. Honestly, the RWA track has been getting hype for months, but there aren’t many that have managed to sustain a real upward trend. Ondo is one of them. What it does, in simple terms, is to move low-risk, stable-yield assets like U.S. Treasury bills onto the blockchain. Right now, the Federal Reserve is still sitting in a high-interest-rate range, which is a natural tailwind for on-chain dollar yield products—because the demand is real, not propped up by slogans. A 13% gain paired with a market cap of
#44 —frankly, it’s not outrageous. Personally, I think this level can still be watched for more, but I won’t go all-in at once. I’m more comfortable buying in batches on pullbacks. I’m generally bullish on the RWA theme, but you have to control the timing yourself.
Second, Pudgy Penguins. I was pretty conflicted about this one before, thinking, isn’t it just an NFT avatar? But recently I noticed they’ve taken the right path—physical toys are in Walmart now, and they’ve also done a bunch of brand collaborations. In other words, they’ve shifted from a purely on-chain IP to a consumer-products direction, which is completely the opposite of BAYC’s route of “the more you play, the more financialized it gets.” A price of 0.0062 rising 3% isn’t huge, but it’s the kind of slow-and-steady “long bull” player. It doesn’t rely on wild pumps and dumps to stand out. I won’t comment much on the short term, but for the long term, holding it doesn’t seem like a problem—assuming you’re okay with it continuing to grind.
As for the other ones that are soaring and crashing, I won’t go into them. AKE is up 271% and still ranks 918—basically a pure gambling chart; whoever catches the final baton will be the unlucky one. ANSEM memes that hang a KOL name on them, and CASHCAT too—down 25% means the ones who chased the price high have already been buried. If it shows up on a leaderboard like this, just look once and move on—don’t reach your hand out.
In summary, one line: today, the only things truly worth paying attention to are ONDO and PENGU—one is steady and the other is slow. The rest can just be background noise.
