• The current social network landscape is dominated by a limited number of profit-driven corporations, whose primary focus is their own financial interests. As a result, these platforms often exploit user data and manipulate content, communities, and users on a massive scale to maximize revenue. The centralization of social network data creates an ecosystem that unfairly monetizes user data and hinders innovation, preventing developers from introducing new and innovative social products and features.

• CyberConnect aims to challenge this status quo by establishing a community-owned social network that offers users ultimate control over their digital lives free from centralized and biased tech.

• CYBER is CyberConnect's governance token, and can be used for the following functions:

  • Governance: CYBER token holders have voting power and can delegate their voting power to others. Protocol improvements are decided based on voting power.

  • Payment for CyberID: used for payment when purchasing CyberID.

  • CyberAccount gas token: used as the price meter and means of payment for gas fees for all transactions within CyberAccount across EVM-compatible chains.

  • More CYBER use cases shall be introduced by the CyberDAO.

• The project has raised 25,000,000 USD from two rounds of private token sales, where 25,120,000 CYBER token has been sold. The project also raised 5,400,000 USD from public sale on Coinlist where the CYBER price was 1.80 USD.

1.2 CyberConnect's Key Highlights

• CyberProfile: a universal identity infrastructure that powers an entire ecosystem of web3 social experiences. In addition to storing basic personal information, CyberProfile anchors users’ self-sovereign digital identity, linking content and social connections to their identities. In total 1.25 million CyberProfile were minted.

• CyberAccount: With CyberConnect V3, CyberAccount is introduced to help users onboard to multi-chain web3 social experiences leveraging ERC-4337 Account Abstraction. Users could pay gas on any network with CYBER on one network. Within 24h after launching on July 25, 2023, it’s already the largest ERC-4337 Smart Contract Account out there.

• W3ST (Web3 Status Token): a non-transferrable NFT with on-chain issuer reference that acts as a digitally verifiable indicator of a user’s status in their community. It is a powerful instrument for users to find their tribe in web3. Organizations use W3ST to recognize their most engaged and loyal supporters and therefore build a digitally verifiable, immutable, and contextually meaningful contribution-based value system in their communities. A total of 4.5 million W3ST have been minted.

• Ecosystem Projects: CyberConnect builds a whole suite of developer toolkits including optimistic indexing API, relay transaction services, gas sponsorship services, and a recommendation engine for developers to build new web3 social applications without the need to build their own infrastructure. CyberConnect co-hosted #Connected2023 with BNB Chain and sponsored 7 smaller hackathons to onboard developers and teams worldwide. So far there are 50+ third-party projects built on CyberConnect including Phaver, ReadON, Huddle01 and more.

• Premium CyberID (.cyber): Over 42k users purchased a premium .cyber name, generating 278 ETH and 1,056 BNB.

• Link3: a first-party social network application built on CyberConnect. Link3, launched in Q2 2022, is a web3 social network for building and discovering new communities. With a proven history of fueling over 2500 web3 teams’ growth and community engagement efforts, Link3 has helped top projects reach new audiences and retain existing ones through web3-native events, posts, and profiles.
