What Is Gensyn (AIGENSYN)?
Gensyn is a decentralized AI infrastructure network that combines blockchain technology with distributed computing for machine learning tasks. The project connects users who require computing resources for AI model training and inference with individuals or organizations that have spare computing power available. By creating a permissionless marketplace for AI computation, Gensyn aims to provide an alternative to centralized AI infrastructure controlled by large technology companies. The protocol officially launched its mainnet in April 2026 alongside Delphi, its first live application focused on AI-powered prediction markets.
AIGENSYN is the native token of the Gensyn ecosystem and operates as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network. The token is integrated into the network’s economic and governance structure, supporting transactions and participation across the protocol. Gensyn also introduced a buyback-and-burn mechanism connected to Delphi, where a portion of trading fees is used to purchase AIGENSYN tokens on the open market, with part of those tokens permanently removed from circulation.
The AIGENSYN token is used for payments, staking, and governance within the network. Users requesting AI compute resources pay network participants in AIGENSYN for completing machine learning tasks. The token is also used by verifiers who stake tokens as collateral to support honest verification of computational results. In addition, token holders can participate in governance decisions related to protocol upgrades, fee structures, and treasury allocations.
AIGENSYN has a fixed maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. The circulating supply currently stands at 1.3 billion AI tokens.
