About Bonfida (FIDA)
Bonfida is a product suite that offers products and services, including Audaces Protocol, which according to Bonfida, is the first perpetual contracting protocol in the Solana ecosystem. The Bonfida suite also includes the Solana domain name service, Bonfida Bot, the Serum DEX front-end, and the Serum API service.Ā
Bonfida's Solana name service enables the creation of a "Humanized ID," or a human-readable identifier that is tied to a user's Solana Wallet. Instead of being identified by an alphanumeric string, users can use a human-readable identifier, such as "bonfida.sol" for example.Ā
The Bonfida Bot, another Bonfida-developed tool, is supposedly an automated DeFi trading bot that users can use to create technical indicators to build trading strategies for automated DeFi trading. DeFi users can send on-chain trading signals to BonfidaBot using TradingView's strategy indicators or through JavaScript commands, enabling fully automated on-chain trading. Users can create their own programmable trading strategies, which can be open to the public or can be set to private, with a feature enabling users to charge for access to trading strategies.Ā
Bonfida states it is a complementary tool to the Serum ecosystem, providing a front-end interface of the Serum decentralized exchange (DEX)and is equipped with a built-in wallet. Bonfida has a back-end infrastructure for storing all transactions on the chain specific to Serum, which allows Bonfida to provide data through a REST API. The Serum API provides data storage for all Serum transaction data and, according to Bonfida, is used by data platforms such as CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, and many decentralized exchange market makers.
In December 2020, Bonfida closed a $4.5 million seed round led by CMS Holdings, with participation from Spartan Group, Genesis Block Ventures, Sino Global Capital, Fisher8 Capital, FBG Capital, and Prophet Capital participated in the round. Bonfida price is updated and live-tracked on Binance in real-time.
