Binance just launched a new technical analysis feature that displays assets’ percentage price change over time adjusted to the user’s time zone.
Binance enables traders to access candlestick charts with various technical tools to analyze the market. Technical analysis is an approach that uses past price action and volume data to anticipate future price movement. We’re excited to announce the next addition to our technical analysis offering – Change (%) Basis.
Change (%) Basis
The Change (%) Basis feature is available for Spot, Margin, Options, and Futures charts, excluding Mock Trading and Daily Options. This feature was designed to give users a more nuanced trading experience tailored to their time zones. By default, the information used to calculate percentage change relies on price information for the last 24 hours. With the Change (%) Basis feature, you can select your own time zone to see the 24-hour percentage changes calculated according to where you are.
For instance, if you select the UTC+8 time zone, percentage change data will be calculated from the open price at 00:00 UTC+8.
Note: Changing time zones will only affect the percentage change calculation using market information. Changes will not be applied to Kline candlesticks.
How to Use Change (%) Basis
On the Binance app:
On the Binance app, log into your Binance account.
