Open Applications for Season 6 Incubation Program & Binance Labs Paris Meetup Event

Binance Labs, the venture capital and incubation arm of Binance, has opened applications for Season 6 of its incubation program. The Binance Labs Incubation program is for founders starting innovative early-stage Web3 projects leveraging a tailored curriculum and resources across the Binance ecosystem.

The previous season of the Binance Labs Incubation Program received over 900 applications. Through a rigorous review of applications, 12 project teams spanning across infrastructure, zkDID, DeFi, tooling, security, gaming, and payment sectors were selected, where 5 standout project teams were invested in by Binance Labs at the end of the season. 

The 3-month program has been tailored to meet the evolving needs of founders in a dynamic industry environment. The curriculum focuses specifically on Web3 startup building, and founders are encouraged to refine their ideas further and iterate on their products. Admitted founders will have the opportunity to participate in 1-1 mentoring sessions and access to fireside chats with industry leaders, including founders of Binance and Binance Labs portfolio companies. 

Through the Incubation program, Binance Labs is making a Request for Startups (RFS) in the following areas of interest:

Infrastructure

  • MEV - block builders, embedded search strategies, relayers, and auction infrastructure.

  • ZK Proofs - zkEVM optimization and proof size reduction.

  • Layer 2 Scaling - ZK-rollups, recursive ZK, and decentralized sequencers.

  • Modularity - app-chain thesis; separation of execution, settlement, consensus, and data availability layers.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

  • Lending & Borrowing - mitigating risk and minimizing bad debt.

  • Perpetuals & Derivatives - AMM-powered products.

  • Investing - passive index and structured products.

  • Liquid Staking - secure liquid staking pools, DeFi utility for liquid staking derivatives (LSD), LSD-backed stablecoins.

  • RWAs - tokenizing real-world assets to bring practical yield and financial activity on-chain.

Application Layer

  • AI-Powered DApps - with generative AI and plugins.

  • Web 2.5 DApps - DApps for mass adoption with tokenization and utility, fully on-chain Web3 games, and DApps utilizing UGC or randomness.

  • Analytics - on-chain data analytics and search engines.

  • SocialFi - virtual influencers and virtual identities.

Binance Labs Incubation Kick-Off Event Paris

To kick off Season 6 of the incubation program, Binance Labs will hold a meetup event during the EthCC on July 20, 2023, at Station F in Paris. The event brings together early-stage founders and alumni of programs led by Binance Labs, providing a unique opportunity for new and experienced founders to connect and share their experiences.
