DogeBall launched DOGEBALL on Uniswap on October 14 with just 0.04 ETH, worth less than $100, in its liquidity pool, despite reporting more than $317,000 raised from 1,085 investors.
The opening pool ratio priced $DOGEBALL at $0.00027, already far below the promoted $0.015 listing price. By October 15, the token traded at $0.00002726, 99.8% below that promise and 90.9% below the stage 1 presale price. Combined pool liquidity stood at $58, with $4,800 in 24-hour volume.
The near-empty liquidity pool and price collapse raise serious suspicions of a presale scam.
After closing its presale on September 28, DogeBall introduced an unexpected Uniswap auction and promised to lock the proceeds in trading liquidity. The auction failed, and bidders reclaimed their ETH.
The NFT controlling the launch liquidity position remained in the project wallet on October 15. Its history showed no transfer to a liquidity locker or burn address, leaving the claimed protection against founder withdrawals unsupported for this position.
Before launch, DogeBall also offered tokens through Telegram at $0.0003, 98% below its promoted listing price. It cited an early investor’s “unforeseen circumstances” without disclosing the quantity or who would receive the proceeds. Trading was postponed from October 12 to October 14.
