🔥US spot @Bitcoin ETFs just shook off their two week slump finally some good news.
Last week, net inflows hit $301 million. For context, the prior two weeks saw outflows of nearly $910 million.
If you break it down, Monday through Wednesday brought in a hefty $1.07 billion, but those gains took a hit on Thursday and Friday, with $773.5 million flowing out. Most of the positive action came from IBIT, pulling in $565.7 million all the other ETFs were in the red.
The price barely budged, hovering between $80K and $84K. Right now, there's a 43% chance we see $77.5K again this month.
So yeah, there's real demand, but it's coming from a pretty concentrated group.

✨$NEAR ready for a “crypto black swan” moment?

Anton Astafiev NEAR One’s CTO thinks so. He claims NEAR’s setup actually puts it ahead of older blockchains like Bitcoin if cryptography breaks down. Basically, NEAR’s account design lets you swap out signing schemes without forcing everyone through a grueling migration that might take years. So, if the crypto world suddenly needs a new way to sign transactions, NEAR could adapt way faster.

Anton’s honest about it, though. This flexibility doesn’t mean NEAR is bulletproof making those changes would still be tough.

Right now, the price is down 11% this month and people are super bearish.

— Dijkstra hard fork sets the new rules
— Pools start registering extra voting keys
— Mainnet gets hit with load tests
— Then governance steps in to vote on the parameters

They’re aiming for 3 to 5 times the Praos throughput at first, then pushing for 10 to 15 times more. That’s measured in transaction KB per second. So, it’s not a guarantee on TPS.

Look, capacity isn’t the same as demand—but they built in pause points, so this isn’t some wild, uncontrolled jump. It’s a managed ramp-up.

Take this week’s Q3 earnings calls: Goldman wants more products on the table, Wells Fargo boasts about their tokenized deposits settling cross-border payments in about two minutes, and Morgan Stanley says transfers are happening faster, but clients still need guidance.

Honestly, the numbers are tiny right now just “small and at the margin,” with no real revenue to speak of. Still, you can’t ignore the direction: quicker settlement times, round-the-clock access. Whether it’s Solana, Bitcoin, or any other chain, major, regulated institutions will judge them by what they can actually use.

So, are the big institutions going to pick confidential, compliance-focused chains or stick with standard EVM chains? That’s the real question.
