BNB CHAIN UPGRADES $100M INCENTIVE PROGRAM TO INCLUDE DIRECT TOKEN PURCHASES FOR QUALIFIED PROJECTS - @BNBChain has announced an upgrade to its $100 million incentive program, now shifting towards a new direct token acquisition model in response to feedback received after a 3-week pilot phase. - To qualify for selection, projects must meet a range of metrics, including a market capitalization of over $1 million, at least 300 active daily traders, and an average daily trading volume of no less than $200,000. - Projects will be assessed not only on trading performance but also on Total Value Locked (TVL), with only those having a TVL of over $20 million being eligible. On-chain Security Remains Top Priority: - Projects must ensure that the top 10 externally owned accounts (EOAs) collectively hold no more than 10% of the token supply, excluding centralized exchanges and CZ-known wallets. - Token distribution via locking or staged releases is strongly encouraged. - Verification of token contracts on BscScan or successful completion of a third-party security audit is mandatory for participation. - The BNB Chain Foundation will review all eligible assets across multiple dimensions to identify any financial or contract-related risks. - Community-reported scams backed by evidence will automatically disqualify projects. Propelling BNB Chain Projects - The program supports only 100% BNB Chain native tokens, including those newly created or fully migrated from other chains. - Final selection and announcement timelines remain flexible and subject to official statements by the BNB Chain Foundation. - The foundation retains the right to alter the terms, disqualify participants for violations such as wash trading or self-trading, and adjust the campaign without prior notice.
