🔥Former Binance CEO CZ Zhao has been sentenced to 4 months in prison.
During Tuesday's hearing, Zhao apologized and said he wanted to "take responsibility for his mistakes." He also indicated that #Binance has implemented various programs to cooperate with the government.
Remember that previously, the United States Department of Justice was asking for 3 years in prison for the founder of Binance for violations of the laws of the North American country. On the other hand, Zhao's defense was asking for no prison time, and suggested probation.
Additionally last November #Cz Zhao agreed to pay a fine of $50 million and Binance agreed to pay $4.3 billion, according to Coindesk.
