#SEC 🏛 SEC Doubles Down on Crypto Regulation Despite #CLARITYAct Setback Paul Atkins, Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has reaffirmed the agency's commitment to establishing a clear and understandable regulatory framework for crypto in the United States. This statement comes against the backdrop of several significant developments in Washington: ➡️ Failure of the CLARITY Act: The bill, intended to delineate jurisdiction between the SEC and the CFTC, failed to pass a procedural vote in the Senate (falling short of the 60-vote threshold). This has shifted the focus back to the utilization of the regulators' existing authorities. ➡️ Personnel Changes at the White House: Patrick Witt has stepped down as Executive Director of the White House Crypto Council following the conclusion of his temporary appointment. Atkins thanked him for his contributions to implementing the Trump administration's crypto strategy. ❓ What does this mean for the market? Despite legislative delays and further personnel shifts within the White House digital assets team, the SEC—under Atkins' leadership—continues to move toward a more relaxed and structured regulatory environment. Notably, in September, the Commission granted temporary regulatory relief regarding the trading of certain tokenized stocks. According to Paul Atkins, the SEC’s goal remains unchanged: to build a healthy and transparent market that will help the U.S. become a global crypto hub. 🇺🇸💎 {future}(BTCUSDT) {future}(ETHUSDT) {future}(ZECUSDT)

Day 19 of the U.S. government shutdown: Only 10% of the SEC’s staff is on the job, and they’re too swamped to even catch fraud—how could they possibly have time to approve your ETF? More than 90 crypto ETF applications are frozen on desks. The October deadlines for products from Grayscale, 21Shares, and Bitwise came and went in silence. Nobody’s paying attention. The most ironic part? The crypto market still opens on weekends, acting as its own Fed—the government shuts down, and crypto picks up the slack. Pick a side in the comments: A, they’ll retaliate by approving everything once the government reopens—off we go; B, they’ve been frozen too long and are toast, dropping back to $1. #美国政府停摆 #SEC #ETF

🏛 REGULATORS SAID: MOST CRYPTO IS NOT SECURITIES. NOW THIS NARRATIVE IS DRIVING THE MARKET UP 📈🔥 The SEC and CFTC divided all tokens into five categories, and four of them—including digital commodities (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, DOGE, and others)—are not considered securities ✅ This removes the main barrier for institutions, and the “Token Taxonomy” narrative has already surged to the top in terms of growth: over the past 30 days, its market cap has grown by 7.7% to $2.17 trillion 💰 A striking example: INJ is up 32% in a week after the project’s CEO met with representatives of the White House, SEC, and CFTC 🚀 Regulatory clarity could accelerate altcoin ETFs and the tokenization of real-world assets. #SEC #CFTC #Regulation {spot}(INJUSDT) {spot}(XRPUSDT) {spot}(SOLUSDT)

Two messages landed back-to-back. The first: ChainCatcher just reposted CoinDesk: SEC Chair Atkins approved a Cboe rule change allowing KPI binary options on 23 U.S.-listed companies, including Coinbase, Robinhood, and MARA. The statement was issued on October 13, and the media only started picking it up tonight. The second was Wu Shuo reposting Reuters: Deutsche Bank plans to launch crypto custody services within weeks, initially supporting major assets such as BTC and ETH, then expanding into Asian financial hubs in 2027. The remarks came from Gerald Podobnik, co-head of Corporate Bank. A quick look at the market: $BTC 82,240 (24h +1.52%), $ETH 2,466 (+4.21%); 18/21 coins are up, the Fear & Greed Index is at 63, and $INJ +25.75% leads the gainers, while STRK -2.68% is the only coin on the losers' list. In the derivatives market, $BTC 1h open interest is down 0.27%, and the long/short ratio is 1.54. The SEC is opening a path for derivatives, while Deutsche Bank is opening the door to custody—which move do you think will pay off first? #Binance #SEC #加密托管 #MarketFlash

The SEC Is Down to Two: Quorum Rules Changed to Let One Person DecideAs soon as Peirce took leave, the SEC changed its quorum rules. On September 30, the SEC adopted a final rule (Release 34-106537), effective October 2—the same day Hester Peirce began her leave. The regular quorum remains 3 members; a new exception provides that if all other sitting commissioners recuse themselves due to conflicts of interest, the one remaining commissioner can constitute a quorum. This doesn’t mean “one person decides everything”; it’s a very narrow exception for recusals. There are currently 5 seats, but only Chair Paul Atkins and Mark Uyeda remain in office. Crypto-related documents are still pending: the comment period for the Regulation Crypto Assets exemption proposal is expected to close around October 20; comments on the crypto asset custody proposal are due by December 7. The rules themselves aren’t crypto-specific, but it’s hard not to connect them to the timing.
