#FedRateWatch Honestly with the August CPI figures (+0.3%), I don’t think we can get out of it this time—the 25 bps cut is basically already in the bag (the market is pricing it in at 90%). But for me it’s not an isolated thing: the Fed has clearly started a cycle, and it will keep easing gradually as long as employment remains fragile.
On the market side, if that gets confirmed, I’d expect green on BTC: low rates = people are looking for yield elsewhere. Tech should follow too—borrowing will be cheaper for them. And gold, as usual in this kind of environment, keeps its status as a safe haven, so that should hold.
Me personally, I’m not moving before the announcement—no leverage; I’ll wait to see how the market reacts. Often the “sell the news” happens right after, so patience above all.
