I almost added a bigger DUSK position this week, but ended up starting with a small test buy instead. While reading through the AEGIS security analysis, I realized the audit wasn't the most interesting part.What stood out was how security depends on three layers working together: the code, validator incentives, and governance. An audit can reduce technical risk, but it doesn't guarantee a secure network if validators lose the economic reason to behave correctly when things get messy.That changed how I look at DUSK. I used to treat security reports like a final verdict. Now I see them as one piece of a much larger system. The token isn't just there for value capture—it helps coordinate validator behavior, and that coordination matters most when the network is under stress, not when everything is running smoothly.It's a small shift in perspective, but it's made me evaluate DUSK with a lot more attention to incentives than audit headlines.
