Will Bitcoin lose 75% from its all-time high like many people predict?
Many people believe Bitcoin $BTC will drop 75% from its all-time high, mainly because it has done so in previous market cycles. However, I believe the situation today is very different. Markets evolve over time, and Bitcoin is no longer the same asset it was 5–10 years ago. In the early days, Bitcoin was mostly driven by retail investors, tech enthusiasts, and small investment funds. Today, the landscape has changed significantly. Large corporations, institutional investors, some governments, and even political leaders are openly supporting or acknowledging Bitcoin. The introduction of Spot Bitcoin ETFs, regulated custodians, and clearer legal frameworks has made the market more structured and mature. These factors were not present in earlier cycles. Another key difference is Bitcoin’s market size. Its market capitalization is now much larger, which makes extreme price swings harder to achieve. A 75% drop would require enormous selling pressure, which appears less likely with the current level of institutional participation. From my perspective, Bitcoin has evolved into a strong long-term asset. That is why staying patient and holding for the long term seems like a more reasonable strategy. #BTC
