Bitget CEO Gracy: Hyperliquid may be on track to become FTX 2.0. The way it handled the JELLY incident was immature, unethical, and unprofessional, triggering user losses and casting serious doubts over its integrity. Hyperliquid operates more like an offshore CEX with no KYC/AML, enabling illicit flows and bad actors. Its product design reveals alarming flaws: mixed vaults that expose users to systemic risk, and unrestricted position sizes that open the door to manipulation.

According to Binance's voting coin list, the first round of voting has ended. BANANAS31 (Banana For Scale) ranked first with a voting rate of 19.4%, and WHY (why) ranked second with 18.8%. The vote attracted a total of 185,436 votes. Binance said that the voting results will not directly determine the final listing of the coin.

According to Parsec, within hours of the Jelly liquidation, Hyperliquid's net USDC outflow was as high as $140 million. In the previous ETH whale long liquidation incident, Hyperliquid's USDC net outflow totaled nearly $300 million. In the past 30 days, Hyperliquid's USDC balance has dropped from about $2.5 billion to $2.07 billion.

Hyperliquid: After evidence of suspicious market activity, the validator set convened and voted to delist JELLY perps. Note that HLP’s 24 hour pnl as of writing is approximately 700k USDC. All users apart from flagged addresses will be made whole from the Hyper Foundation. This will be done automatically in the coming days based on onchain data.
