$BTC is around $83,400 today (28 Sep 2026), down about 1.2% over 24 hours. The immediate picture is consolidation after September’s rebound. Bitcoin recently failed to clear the $85,000–$86,000 resistance area, while $83,000–$83,300 is the key near-term support zone.

What matters now
Above $85,000: a move back toward the recent ~$87,400 high becomes technically relevant.

Below $83,000: downside risk increases, with ~$82,600 and potentially ~$81,000 becoming areas to watch.

ETF demand: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted roughly $2.4B last week, bringing 2026 net flows back into positive territory.
