Daily and weekly indicators show potential recovery momentum.
RSI around 37.5 on the daily chart suggests relatively weak momentum, leaving room for a rebound.

$HYPE | Short Term LONG Setup

Hyperliquid is back on my watchlist for a potential short term LONG.
Despite recent market volatility, $HYPE has several bullish catalysts that could support another recovery.

1️⃣ Bullish Catalysts
ICE, the parent company of the NYSE, announced plans to bring regulated U.S. perpetual futures markets to retail traders using Hyperliquid's infrastructure.
Institutional adoption could strengthen Hyperliquid's position in the derivatives market.
Whale activity has also attracted attention, with several large LONG positions reported.
Hyperliquid's ecosystem and trading infrastructure remain key fundamental drivers.

2️⃣ Short-Term LONG Strategy
My focus is on the $86–87 support zone.
If HYPE holds this area and buying volume returns, a breakout above $90.8 could open the way toward $94.8.
A successful breakout above $94.8 could bring the previous ATH zone near $98 back into focus.

However, a decisive breakdown below $84.8 would weaken the bullish setup, while losing $80 would invalidate the short-term LONG thesis.

How the Attacker Used $AAVE to Borrow $44.6M in $ETH

One of the most interesting developments in the Binance hack is the attacker's use of Aave V3 to access massive ETH liquidity.

📌 On-chain Breakdown
1️⃣ $60M USDT Deposited
The attacker linked wallet deposited approximately $60 million in USDT as collateral on Aave V3 Ethereum Core.
2️⃣ 19,762 WETH Borrowed
The wallet borrowed a total of 19,762 WETH in two transactions, worth approximately $44.6 million at the time.
3️⃣ ETH Transfers
Around 23,314.5 ETH was subsequently transferred to hack related wallets.
4️⃣ AAVE Selling Pressure
Separately, the attacker linked wallet reportedly sold approximately 128,000 AAVE tokens, worth around $15.9 million based on the reported valuation, alongside other altcoins to acquire ETH.

⚠️ Aave's Emergency Response
Aave responded by freezing affected markets to prevent further supply and borrowing activity.
Aave V3: 175 reserves across 16 networks
Aave V4: 117 reserves across 4 networks
Existing repayments and collateral withdrawals remain available.
Liquidations continue to operate.

🔍 My Take
This was not an exploit of $AAVE itself.
Instead, the attacker leveraged legitimate DeFi lending infrastructure to obtain additional liquidity and diversify the movement of stolen funds.
The key distinction is that USDT was used as collateral to borrow ETH, while AAVE tokens were separately sold for ETH.
