๐ Texas crude cools off: 92.41 dollars and a week to forget
The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) closed the Friday session on September 25 at $92.41 per barrel, after falling 2.33%. November-dated futures contracts cut $2.20 versus the previous close and, for the week, the U.S. benchmark shed around 7% of its value. At first glance, it seems like a far-off figureโone of those you read on financial portals and then forget. But in Venezuela, that number has a direct translation: fewer petrodollars entering the circuit and more pressure on the exchange rate, reflected on banksโ exchange desks and in P2P quotes.
