I used to think Crypto was only for tech whizzes. Honestly, I was scared. Scared of losing cash. Scared of not understanding anything. Scared of being laughed at by others. So I just sat on the sidelines… for a long time. Until one day I saw a friend – not smarter than me, not with more capital than me – but they were living the way I dreamt of. And then I found CreatorpadVN – a community where for the first time I felt like I wasn't lost in this Crypto world. People didn't just talk about numbers and candlesticks. They talked about the journey. About mistakes. About those days when they felt like giving up. And that’s what made me stay. I’m still on the path. Not there yet. The “Accidental” Overpayment Trap: Extra Money Can Create Extra Risk You’re selling 500 USDT on P2P. The buyer pays, but when you check your bank account, the amount is higher than the order. Then comes the message: “Sorry, I sent too much. Please refund the difference to this other account.” It sounds reasonable. That’s exactly when I stop. Because the moment the payment no longer matches the P2P order, I don’t try to “fix” it with another transfer. Especially not to a different bank account. Now there are two separate transactions: 1️⃣ The original payment linked to the P2P order. 2️⃣ A new transfer from me to an account that may not be connected to that order at all. If something goes wrong later, that second transfer can become a serious problem to explain. So my rule is simple: Wrong amount = Pause. Never improvise a refund. Before releasing crypto, I verify: • Does the amount match the order exactly? • Does the sender information match? • Is the payment clearly connected to this order? • Am I being asked to send money somewhere else? If anything doesn’t match, I keep the conversation inside the order, save the Order ID, payment record, and chat history, and use the official Appeal/Support process if needed. The dangerous part is psychological: Extra money can make you feel obligated to “return it quickly.” That sense of urgency is exactly why I slow down. A genuine mistake can be resolved properly. There is no reason to create a second risk while trying to solve the first. Wrong amount = Pause. Different refund account = Stop and verify. The “Accidental” Overpayment Trap: Extra Money Can Create Extra Risk

You’re selling 500 USDT on P2P.

The buyer pays, but when you check your bank account, the amount is higher than the order.

“Sorry, I sent too much. Please refund the difference to this other account.”

Especially not to a different bank account.

Now there are two separate transactions:

1️⃣ The original payment linked to the P2P order.
2️⃣ A new transfer from me to an account that may not be connected to that order at all.

If something goes wrong later, that second transfer can become a serious problem to explain.

Video evidence in a P2P dispute: How to film & submit correctly to help Binance resolve it super fast👌 At exactly 07:00 AM that day, my 15,000 USDT sell order (equivalent to nearly 396 million VND) was stuck in pending. The buyer said they had transferred the money, but I didn’t see anything in my account. My heart raced, but I remembered: Binance escrow was still keeping the coins safely. Just prepare the evidence the right way. I followed 4 super simple steps for recording the video, and Binance support handled it very quickly: Step 1: Open the Binance app, go to the order details, and clearly show the Order ID and the status “under dispute”. Step 2: Switch to your banking app, log in for real, swipe down to display the current balance and the most recent transaction history (there’s no matching amount). Step 3: Record the entire screen slowly, clearly stating the date/time and “I am the seller; I have not received payment from the buyer.” Step 4: End by going back to the internal Binance chat to prove that all exchanges took place on the platform—never leaving the app. The script I said in the video: “Hello Support Team. I’m the seller of a 15,000 USDT order. At the moment, I have not received the payment. This is my bank account balance at this time and all of the transaction history. All exchanges are in the Binance chat. Please help me check.” A few minutes later, the buyer transferred the funds to me. By keeping the transaction on the platform, confirming that the money is real before release, and saving the full records, this “incident” became an experience that made me feel even more confident. The P2P Rule I Wish Someone Had Told Me Earlier

When I first started using P2P, I thought a successful trade was simple:

Find a good rate → send the money → receive the crypto.

After doing it enough times, I realized the most important part happens between those steps.

That’s where mistakes usually happen.

So now I use one rule:

Never let convenience override verification.

Before opening an order, I check the counterparty’s completion rate, trading history, merchant status, limits, and terms. A slightly better price means nothing if the transaction itself looks questionable.

Once the order begins, I keep everything inside Binance P2P.

If someone asks me to continue on Zalo, Telegram, or another channel because it’s “easier,” I don’t follow.

Why? Because the active order gives me something an informal deal cannot:

🔐 Escrow protection
💬 A recorded order chat
🛡️ An Appeal process if something goes wrong

Then comes the step I consider most important:

Verify the payment yourself.

If I’m selling crypto, I never release based on:

❌ A screenshot
❌ An SMS
❌ “I already transferred”
❌ Someone rushing me

I open my banking app and check that the actual funds have arrived.

No confirmed funds = no release.

I also check whether the payment account details match the order. If the account suddenly changes during the transaction, that’s my signal to stop and verify again.

And before I consider the trade finished, I keep the Order ID, payment receipt, and chat record.

Not because I expect every trade to go wrong.

Because good P2P habits are built before you need them.

My P2P checklist is simple:

✅ Check the person, not just the price
✅ Keep the transaction inside the platform
✅ Verify real funds yourself
✅ Pause when anything changes unexpectedly
✅ Save evidence until the order is fully resolved

For me, safe P2P isn’t about being suspicious of everyone.

It’s about making sure one rushed decision never becomes an expensive lesson.

After going through thousands of P2P orders, I’ve noticed the biggest difference between newcomers and veterans lies in how they respond to incidents. Newcomers’ perspective: When they see the counterparty urging them, they often panic and easily comply with the request to move to Zalo, unintentionally violating the law by not conducting transactions on the platform. They rely on the receipt images and are too lazy to open their official banking app to verify. Because they are overly trusting, they skip the step of matching account names—making it easier for dirty money to flow into their own hands. Experts’ perspective: They remain calm because they understand the KYC/escrow mechanism (Escrow) is actively working to protect their assets. They don’t argue; they simply act based on the real data from the banking system. When something changes, they immediately copy the Order ID code and open a dispute/complaint to resolve it. They know how to leverage the power of the Binance Support team 24/7 to handle disputes on their behalf. Change your habits to match those of an expert, and you’ll never be tricked. ⚠️ There’s a P2P scam type I think fellow guys are very likely to overlook: “The price is too good.” When I needed to buy USDT, I saw an ad with a much better price than the surrounding ones. The first instinct is simple: “This price is great—close quickly before someone else takes it.” But after a few transactions, I stopped just looking at the numbers. I started checking the ad’s conditions, the Completion Rate, the number of transactions, and the Merchant badge if available. Especially, I read the payment method section before clicking to place the Order. A tempting price doesn’t mean the transaction is suitable. Some ads look very enticing, but the payment conditions are complicated—requiring processing differently from usual—or forcing me to take extra steps that aren’t included in the Order. Sometimes people rush to buy because they see a good price that’s cheaper by 100 VND like in the image below, but end up getting tricked into buying at a price that’s higher by 1000 VND. If a deal looks good but I have to trade away too many things just to complete it, I skip it. P2P isn’t a race to see who can lock in the cheapest price. Sometimes giving up a good price is still much cheaper than trying to force completion of a transaction I don’t fully understand. If you’re running P2P, don’t let FOMO make you overlook important details just because the price looks good. @Binance_Vietnam #binancep2pantoan #creatorpadvn $BNB {future}(BNBUSDT)

The first instinct is simple: “This price is great—close quickly before someone else takes it.”

But after a few transactions, I stopped just looking at the numbers.

THE NAME ON THE ACCOUNT DOESN’T MATCH — I STOP. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

❓ Have you ever encountered someone asking you to transfer using another person’s account?

I’ve never broken this rule, even when the reasons sound very convincing.

✅ The three name fields must match exactly

The name verified on Binance, the name of the bank account holder, and the real person who actually clicks the order. If any one of them is off, I stop and ask again in the chat box.

Binance’s P2P policy clearly states that the payment account name must match exactly the information registered, and trading via a third party is prohibited.

🚩 Three reasons that sound perfectly reasonable

"My banking app is acting up—let me get my younger brother to do it for me." "I’m transferring from my company account for convenience." "My wife transferred it for me—we live together, so it’s all the same."

They could all be true. But if the money doesn’t come from the person who is actually listed on the order, I can’t prove that it was used to settle that specific transaction. The policy also states that receiving funds from illegal sources may result in a permanent account lock.

💳 If the money goes in before you notice the name mismatch

Don’t release, and don’t transfer it back yourself. Keep the order, take screenshots of the statement showing the transferrer’s name and the chat window, keep the Order ID, then submit a dispute in the Orders section.

🔐 Waiting costs nothing—and don’t leave the platform

Crypto is still locked in escrow, so waiting a few hours costs nobody anything. If the other side demands a phone call, I’ll still reply in the chat box—what is said doesn’t make it into the dispute file.

If the name doesn’t match and you still proceed, you’re removing your own support.

Từ chối kiểu này nhiều có làm hồ sơ mình xấu đi không?
There’s a very sophisticated scam trick that, if you don’t stay vigilant, will cause you to give up your coins and lose money immediately. It happens when the counterparty changes their name and profile picture to “Binance Support,” then messages you in the chat box asking you to release your assets because “the system has confirmed the payment.” The real customer support staff from the exchange will never intervene directly in your personal chat to pressure you into giving up your coins. To expose this staged scam, the top rule is to hold your ground and firmly refuse to transact outside the platform. Second, ignore any threatening messages and understand that the Escrow mechanism is keeping your coins safe—no one has the right to take them away arbitrarily. Third, the only truth lies in your bank. Open your official bank app yourself to check—if there’s no money, don’t execute any transaction or instruction. Don’t forget to cross-check the account name to confirm the real identity of the person you’re dealing with. Once you’re sure they’re an impersonator, you only need to copy the Order ID code and report them to the official support channel. The real Binance Support team available 24/7 will review the chat logs and permanently suspend this scam account. Thank you, @Binance_Vietnam , for building a transparent system that helps users easily spot and expose scammers. #BinanceP2PAnToan #creatorpadVN
