Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon and Emmy-winning actress Hannah Einbinder were among protesters detained by New York police on September 24, 2026, during a demonstration outside the United Nations against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s appearance at the UN General Assembly.
