Spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a net outflow of $261 million yesterday, marking a significant shift after a period of consistent inflows. This outflow suggests a potential cooling of institutional interest or a reaction to recent market volatility. Investors may be re-evaluating their positions in light of current macroeconomic conditions and the price action of $BTC. The sustained demand from these ETFs has been a key driver for Bitcoin's price appreciation, and a reversal, even if temporary, could influence market sentiment and potentially lead to further price adjustments. This development warrants close observation as it could signal a change in the trend for institutional adoption of Bitcoin through regulated products. #SpotBitcoinETFsShed$261M

Yesterday, everyone was selling—except one. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of about $261 million on October 14 (ET), giving back the previous day’s $176 million in inflows, and then some. Fidelity’s FBTC saw $152.7 million in outflows, while BlackRock’s IBIT saw $110.9 million. The only fund to buck the trend was Bitwise’s BITB, with $2.2 million in inflows. Over the first three trading days of this week, BTC ETFs have seen cumulative outflows of $151 million; last week, outflows totaled a whopping $681 million. The broader picture is even more striking: Ethereum ETFs saw $130 million in outflows on the same day (with BlackRock’s ETHA accounting for about 85%), bringing this week’s cumulative outflows to $190 million. SOL ETFs saw $1.3 million in outflows, marking their eighth straight day of net outflows. And although ZEC ETFs saw $3.7 million in inflows on the day, they’re still in the red for the week. Of the five categories, only $XRP ETFs are seeing inflows: about $740,000 for the day, making them the only category to maintain net inflows for the entire week. They’ve now recorded net inflows for 13 consecutive weeks, totaling about $1.7 billion. In other words, institutions haven’t stopped buying—they’re switching lanes. Funds tied to payment use cases are still building positions at their own pace. But here’s the reality check: fund flows don’t equal market performance. XRP’s price has fallen about 7% over the past seven days and is hovering near $1.31, with its RSI nearing oversold territory. ETF creations and redemptions show only shifts in positioning—not a promise of buying power. $BTC is now around $80,700, down about 3.2% over 24 hours. Reports point to $76,000 as the next key support level, with the 200-day moving average near $72,300. Next up: the FOMC meeting on October 27–28. #SpotBitcoinETFsShed$261M #ETF #XRP This is not investment advice. DYOR—trading involves risk.

A one-night about-face: Fidelity and BlackRock joined forces to bring in money one day, then teamed up to “withdraw” $263 million the next. The only one daring to go against the tide and add to its holdings was a small fund. On October 14, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $261.4 million (cross-verified with data from Farside and SoSoValue). A closer look makes the story even more dramatic: Fidelity’s FBTC saw $152.7 million in outflows, while BlackRock’s IBIT saw $110.9 million—together, the two giants accounted for $263.6 million, actually exceeding the market-wide net outflow. Where did the difference come from? Bitwise’s BITB bucked the trend with $2.2 million in inflows, the only fund in the market to see net subscriptions, making up the shortfall. The other funds were basically flat that day, with zero net flows for Grayscale’s GBTC/BTC and ARK’s ARKB. This wasn’t just about Bitcoin. On the same day, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs saw outflows of about $130 million, with BlackRock’s ETHA alone accounting for $110 million (about 85%). Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs together saw roughly $391 million withdrawn in a single day—a broad-based flight to safety, not a single-asset story. But more noteworthy than the “outflows” is how quickly sentiment flipped. On October 7, Bitcoin ETFs saw nearly $487 million in outflows in a single day—the biggest daily outflow of the month. On October 13, they suddenly saw $175.7 million in net inflows, with Fidelity and BlackRock together bringing in $169 million. Twenty-four hours later, that same money flowed back out. Reversals on a T+1 scale have already happened three times in a single week. Institutional money is no longer making allocation adjustments; it’s playing an emotional on-off switch. The trigger lies in the macro picture: hot September CPI (3.7% year over year, above expectations of 3.6%; core CPI up 0.3% month over month, above expectations of 0.2%) → 10-year U.S. Treasury yields at around 5.3% → markets begin pricing in “three more rate hikes” → risk assets broadly deleverage. ETF share redemptions force funds to sell their underlying Bitcoin, sending direct selling pressure into the spot market. So $261.4 million is more than just a number; it represents real selling pressure reaching the spot market. Before panicking, though, look at the denominator. Since launching in January 2024, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen cumulative net inflows of more than $54 billion, with total assets of about $100 billion. $261.4 million represents less than 0.3% of that, leaving the long-term structure completely unchanged; what’s shaken is marginal sentiment. What really deserves attention isn’t a single day’s outflows, but two indicators: first, the concentration among the giants—when FBTC and IBIT move in tandem, redemptions almost inevitably translate into spot-market selling pressure; second, the frequency of flow reversals, which determines how sensitive Bitcoin’s price is to macroeconomic data. Finally, that $2.2 million. BITB’s countertrend inflow was small, but it was the only one in the market moving against the tide—evidence that not every institution is selling and that a divergence of views is taking shape. Who’s buying the dip? Next week’s institutional 13F holdings filings will provide the answer. And tonight’s PPI and retail sales data, at 20:30 Beijing time, could be the next fuse. #SpotBitcoinETFsShed$261M #ETF #BTC This is not investment advice. DYOR; trading involves risk.

BTC Leverage Flushed Out | ETF Buying Has Yet to Confirm a Return | I’m Still Waiting Above $82,000 My stance is to watch with caution, rather than automatically treating one rebound as the start of a new trend. Binance OTC and Execution Services’ weekly report dated October 15 said market sentiment had shifted from greed to neutral over the past week, while excessively crowded leveraged long positions continued to be flushed out. Its assessment was that positioning had become healthier, but a sustained recovery would still require institutional capital to step back in. This is market commentary—not a disclosure by the exchange of its clients’ actual net buying today, and it certainly doesn’t mean prices can only rise now that liquidations are over. I cross-check this against more verifiable fund data: Farside’s table of individual funds shows that U.S. spot BTC funds saw net outflows of about $261.4 million on October 14, including outflows of about $110.9 million from IBIT and $152.7 million from FBTC, while BITB saw inflows of about $2.2 million. The row for October 15 still shows dashes across all columns and an automatically calculated total of 0.0. That only means the data has not yet been filled in; it cannot be reported as a net inflow or as a confirmed zero flow for the day. Binance Square’s #SpotBitcoinETFsShed$261M post refers specifically to the October 14 flow. Adding the previous day’s data to the still-unfilled row for October 15 would create the false impression of “two consecutive days of outflows.” Mechanically, once leveraged longs are forced to close, the risk of further cascading liquidations may ease. But the disappearance of forced selling and the return of discretionary spot buying are two different things. If ETFs continue to lack net inflows and macro rate expectations are unsettled by high-inflation data, a brief return to $82,000 could simply be short covering. Conversely, several days of renewed net fund inflows combined with prices holding above recent highs would be the combination of evidence that would make me more confident in the odds of a sustained move. We cannot infer that all institutions are trading in the same direction from one OTC weekly report or a single day of fund flows. Kraken BTC/USD was around $82,020 at the time of writing, with a rolling open of $81,576.5, a low of $79,709, and a high of $82,519. Spot has rebounded from the intraday low, but confirmation of an upward breakout is still one step away. I’m watching to see whether $82,500–$82,800 can hold, then looking at $83,800 and $85,000. If BTC falls back below $80,800 and then loses $79,700, my view that the rebound can continue is invalidated. If it merely spikes and retreats while the October 15 fund data remains unpublished, I’ll stay out of the market rather than treat an unknown as support. If I were trading this myself, I wouldn’t participate right now or chase the rebound that has already happened. I would only consider a spot long, with no high leverage. My conditions would be for BTC to move above $82,800 and then hold that level on a retest. I would use no more than 5% of my total capital to buy in batches between $82,800 and $83,000, initially targeting $83,800, where I’d sell half, and then looking to $85,000 with the remainder. I’d set an initial stop-loss below $81,500; if, after buying, BTC fell back below $82,500 and failed to recover quickly, I’d also reduce the position proactively. If the daily close were below $80,800, I’d close the entire position. If these conditions aren’t met, all of the above is just a plan—not a trade I’ve made or a profit I’ve earned. #SpotBitcoinETFsShed$261M #BTC The above is solely my personal market observation and does not constitute investment advice.

The above is solely my personal market observation and does not constitute investment advice.
Spot BTC ETFs see $261.4 million in daily outflows | XMR has no comparable institutional backing | Wait for confirmation near 541 I’m leaning cautious: I see XMR’s rebound from today’s low as a recovery, not confirmation of a “safe-haven rally in privacy coins.” Amid widespread discussion of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF outflows, Farside’s fund-by-fund table shows total net outflows of about $261.4 million on October 14, including roughly $110.9 million from IBIT and $152.7 million from FBTC, partly offset by a small inflow into BITB. The October 15 row is still pending, so the zero currently displayed on the page should not be taken to mean there were no outflows today—let alone misreported as outflows from XMR funds. XMR has no comparable ETF funding channel, and that’s the boundary of my participation in this discussion. Why should XMR traders still pay attention to BTC fund data? When institutions pull money from the largest crypto asset, that could first change the market’s overall risk budget, then spill over into coins with more fragmented liquidity. This is a possible transmission mechanism, not a proven causal link. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics also reported today that September’s final-demand PPI rose 1.3% month over month and 6.3% year over year, which may make risk assets more sensitive to macro expectations. But one PPI report cannot be equated with the Fed’s next decision, nor does it justify inferring that privacy assets will inevitably benefit. If the market cuts risk first, XMR’s distinctive privacy use cases may not be enough to offset short-term capital outflows. At the project level, I haven’t found a first-party announcement that “Monero’s mainnet completed a major upgrade today.” The latest official release on the Monero website is still version 0.18.5.3, dated October 6, which mainly highlights fixes related to node connections and the relaying of transactions and blocks. It matters to people running nodes and wallets, but it isn’t a new catalyst released today. Nor should the progress toward closing out the previously discussed FCMP++ milestone be rewritten as a mainnet activation date. Keeping these things separate helps prevent us from inventing a new catalyst every time the price rebounds. In terms of the market’s actual reaction, at the time of writing XMR/USD was around $541.31 on Kraken, with an intraday low of $527.17, a high of $554.95, and an opening price of $549.58. It has bounced from the low, but remains below both the open and the intraday high. I see $527 as the first line of defense against a pullback, and $555 as the level that needs to be reclaimed to restore strength. If the price merely moves sideways around $540, buyers haven’t provided enough confirmation. If an hourly candle closes below $527 and the price fails to reclaim it on a rebound, the recovery thesis is invalidated. Conversely, if it closes decisively above $555, I’d then watch to see whether the breakout level holds. I’ll reassess if the ETF table is updated or Monero’s official channels publish a verifiable new announcement, rather than presuming an outcome. If I were trading it myself: I’d stay out for now, with a no-leverage spot long as the only potential direction, and a 0% position. Only if an hourly candle closes above $555 and a subsequent retest holds in the $550–$555 range would I try a long, using no more than 0.4% of total capital. I’d take half off at $565 and close the rest around $575. After entry, if an hourly candle falls back below $550, I’d first reduce the position by half; below $544, I’d exit entirely. If $527 breaks before those conditions are triggered, I’d cancel this long setup. Capital flows, macro factors, and project announcements have yet to align, so it isn’t worth sizing up just to guess the bottom. #SpotBitcoinETFsShed$261M #XMR The above is solely my personal market observation and does not constitute investment advice.

Inflation Data Sends Markets into Turmoil as Tokenized U.S. Stocks Rise Against the Tide I. U.S. September CPI Comes in Above Expectations, Weighing on Global Markets The latest September Consumer Price Index data released by the U.S. Department of Labor showed that headline CPI rose 3.7% year over year, above market expectations of 3.6%, while core CPI reached 2.6%. Both figures hit their highest levels in several months. The hotter-than-expected inflation report immediately fueled concerns that the Federal Reserve could raise interest rates further, sending global risk assets lower. The cryptocurrency market bore the brunt. Bitcoin fell below the $81,000 mark, with nearly $1 billion in liquidations in a single day. Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $261 million in net outflows on October 14, including $111 million from BlackRock’s IBIT fund and $153 million from Fidelity’s FBTC fund. ETFs for major tokens such as Ethereum and Solana also saw redemptions, with total outflows approaching $400 million. II. Asian Stocks Follow Suit as Sentiment in the Crypto Community Splits Asian stocks broadly declined after the inflation data was released. South Korea’s KOSPI index fell more than 7%, underscoring the global market’s growing sensitivity to U.S. monetary policy. On Binance Square, Bitcoin was discussed more than 18,000 times, but bearish sentiment had a slight edge: there were 159 bearish posts, compared with 112 bullish ones, reflecting investors’ caution in the current climate. Notably, Solana topped the discussion rankings with more than 25,000 mentions, followed by BNB with nearly 20,000, showing that community interest in ecosystem tokens remains strong. Meanwhile, XRP ETFs bucked the trend, recording 13 consecutive weeks of net inflows and attracting more than $1.7 billion in total—a stark contrast with the heavy outflows from Bitcoin ETFs. III. Tokenized U.S. Stocks Grow Against the Tide, with bStocks Surpassing $1 Billion in Four Months As traditional and crypto markets came under pressure at the same time, Binance’s tokenized U.S. stock platform, bStocks, delivered impressive results. In just four months since launch, bStocks’ assets under management surpassed $1 billion. Users have converted more than $6 billion between tokenized shares and their underlying stocks, with no conversion fees. Binance CEO Richard Teng said that users are not merely holding tokenized shares but are actively trading and converting them, demonstrating strong real demand for on-chain stocks. The platform recently announced that it would expand the range of assets accepted as collateral for contracts on bStocks. Users can hold tokenized shares while opening futures contracts, accessing liquidity without having to sell their stocks. IV. Global Expansion Plans Gather Pace, with a Bright Outlook for Tokenized Assets Richard Teng also outlined bStocks’ global expansion roadmap, with plans to extend its stock-tokenization services to Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brazil. This strategic move means investors in more regions will be able to trade U.S. stock assets on a 24/7 market using blockchain technology, significantly lowering the barriers to cross-border investment. As an important part of the real-world asset sector, tokenized securities are moving from proof of concept to large-scale adoption. Traditional financial giants such as BlackRock and Fidelity are also actively building out their on-chain asset offerings. Industry consensus is taking shape, and financial markets of the future will increasingly combine traditional assets with blockchain technology. V. The Federal Reserve’s Policy Path Becomes a Key Variable The market’s focus has now shifted to the Federal Reserve’s next move. Incoming Fed Chair Warsh is pushing to scale back the use of forward guidance and dot plots. This reform could affect market expectations for the path of interest rates. If inflation remains elevated, the Fed may maintain restrictive policy for longer, putting sustained pressure on risk assets. For tokenized U.S. stocks, however, market volatility only underscores their value. Investors can continue trading tokenized shares when traditional U.S. stock markets are closed, hedging risk or seizing opportunities. This ability to trade around the clock is especially valuable in turbulent markets. Overall, although markets face near-term uncertainty around inflation and monetary policy, the long-term growth trajectory for tokenized assets is already established. While keeping an eye on macroeconomic risks, investors may also want to consider the structural opportunities emerging in the nascent tokenized U.S. stock sector. #WarshPushesToScaleBackForwardGuidanceAndDotPlot #SpotBitcoinETFsShed$261M #bStocksAUMSurpasses$1B

🚨 MACRO ALERT 🇺🇸 | U.S. INFLATION INCREASES PRESSURE ON THE FED! ____________________________ The latest two U.S. inflation readings reinforce a worrying outlook for the market. Yesterday (10/14), CPI rose 0.6% month over month, reaching 3.7% year over year, above the expected 3.6%. Today (10/15), PPI came in even hotter, rising 1.3% for the month, versus expectations of 0.5%, and 6.3% over 12 months. Inflationary pressures remain strong, driven mainly by energy costs, and are now extending beyond consumers to affect the production chain as well. According to Reuters, after the CPI report, the probability of another Fed rate hike in October jumped from approximately 22% to the 40%–45% range. The debate now is whether to keep rates high or raise them again. The Fed already raised the rate to 3.75%–4.00% in September, and these indicators reinforce the need for restrictive monetary policy. For the crypto market, the outlook remains unfavorable and extremely sensitive. 🥷 Keep an eye on the Fed meeting on October 27 and 28. ___________________________ Like and share our content to show your support 👊🏽 #ThaiTraderOficial #WarshPushesToScaleBackForwardGuidanceAndDotPlot #SpotBitcoinETFsShed
