In October, the most relevant thing for the BNB Chain network seems to be the execution of its H2 2026 roadmap: more speed, the goal of doubling mainnet throughput again, and progress toward a next-generation L1 architecture. According to BNB Chain, they have already reduced block time to 450 ms, memory finality to 650 ms, and raised benchmark performance to about 5,200 TPS. That could support network usage if activity, stablecoins, and apps grow; if not, the price could continue to be more tied to the broader crypto market and risk appetite.
