Going back to school is once again the excuse for a banking move. This Saturday, September 19, the 51 Bancamiga branches will open their doors starting at 9:00 a.m. with a family-friendly event where they will be giving out, free of charge, the Mastercard Kids Debit Card—an actual card designed so that registered children and teenagers ages 9 to 17 can take their first steps in handling money.
📊 One event, 51 branches, and a card for minors
To open the account, there are no bigger mysteries: a copy of the minor’s ID and the representative’s ID, plus a copy of the birth certificate in the new format issued by CNE, a document that the bank uses to verify the person’s identity. Once that’s done, the boy leaves with his card in hand and an account in his name.
