โ Did you redeem your coupon but your available balance is still zero? Iโll explain whatโs going on.
This is one of the most repeated questions from new users: they go to the Rewards Zone, successfully claim a coupon, but when they go to the main wallet... the balance doesnโt change! ๐ฑ Did the money get lost? Is it an app error?
Donโt worryโyour balance isnโt a โghost.โ Whatโs happening is that Binance divides funds very strictly for security and operational order. Hereโs where to look depending on what you redeemed:
Spot Wallet vs Funds Wallet: If your coupon was for direct tokens, by default it usually goes to one of these two wallets. If you check the general โTotal Balanceโ and donโt see it, go specifically to the Funds or Spot tab. Many times itโs stored there, waiting for you to use it.
Earn Test Funds: If you redeemed a coupon like the one we saw yesterday for โEarn Test Funds,โ that money will never be added to your withdrawable balance. Itโs deposited into a locked section to generate real interest for a few days. What you *can* withdraw later will be the gains (interest) that the coupon generates.
Trading Wallets (Futures/Margin): If the coupon was for these sections, it activates directly as collateral balance within the trading platform to cover losses or fees. You wonโt see it in your regular savings wallet.
Pro tip: Next time you redeem something, donโt look only at the overall balance. Go to the specific tab the coupon indicated (Spot, Funds, or Earn), and thatโs where youโll see your benefit reflected.
๐จ Tomorrow Iโll tell you: Where to see all your accumulated rewards and how to know which ones expire soon?
