Every time an exchange goes down, they use the same playbook:
1️⃣ Issue a sugar-coated notice claiming a "smooth wind-down."
2️⃣ Disable customer support and OTP codes in the background.
3️⃣ Freeze high-value withdrawals manually under the guise of "heavy traffic" or "compliance checks."
4️⃣ Watch native tokens crash by 80% while retail investors lose their life savings.
We are continuously told to trust Centralized Exchanges (CEX) because of "Proof of Reserves" (PoR) and regulatory compliances. But when the crisis hits, users are left completely helpless.
My Questions to the Crypto Community & Major Exchanges:
Why are there no strict international legal guardrails to protect user deposits during a shutdown?
Why are exchanges allowed to freeze withdrawals without any blockchain transparency?
Is it time for retail investors to completely migrate to Hardcore Self-Custody (Cold Wallets) and completely abandon holding funds on CEXs?
