How I lost 180,000 tenge on a “Binance manager” from WhatsApp — and why I still stayed in cryptoThis is not a success story. It's a story about how I was that very beginner who trusted a stranger. It all started in February 2024. I'm a freelancer; clients paid in USDT, and the exchange office in Almaty took almost a 7% commission. A friend sent me Binance. First thought: “This is for hackers and millionaires; I won’t figure it out.”

What a real start in crypto looks like without “million-dollar balances” 🇰🇿👇I remember the day I first registered on Binance. In the chats, everyone was comparing thousands of dollars, and I was sitting there with the thought: “Is it even worth starting with a couple thousand tenge?” Entry point: It all began with a simple desire to protect my funds from devaluation and to try how digital assets work. My first step was straightforward—making a P2P purchase and testing with small amounts. I remember the feeling in the first week: I checked my balance every half hour. Before, crypto seemed to me like something from the realm of advanced mathematics, but now it’s just a regular everyday tool on my phone.

In the winter of 2025, I first became genuinely interested in crypto. Before that, I was also interested, but since I wasn’t 18, I couldn’t complete verification, so I just waited. And then I turned 18, passed verification, and went onto the market! I bought my first cryptocurrency! And of course it was Bitcoin. In a sense, it was like learning, and the numbers were ridiculously small. )) Why Binance? It seemed the most convenient to me, no matter what anyone says—I still think so. Crypto gave me a lot of opportunities. Especially convenient were service widgets and purchases using USDT—fast and anywhere. I don’t hide from taxes, but there are purchases that can’t be paid for with cards from Kazakh banks—this is where I truly felt the taste of crypto. After that, like many others, I went into futures. I won’t lie—I only lost money. But it was an important lesson, not only about crypto, but also about finances and risk. And generally, I use crypto—whether studying it or working in this field, you lose nothing. And in my opinion, the future of the crypto market will be much broader and deeper than it is now. So it’s better to start learning today, although it’s never too late to learn. ))#BinanceKZ How many years have you been familiar with crypto? :)

How my trading started, helping beginners 📊Hello everyone, I’ve decided to share my journey in crypto 😁 maybe I can help someone avoid their own mistakes. #binancekz Why even crypto and trading in general? I served in the Army of Kazakhstan in the RSHR SPN (Special Forces). There was a comrade who worked in investments and trading specifically in the crypto sphere. And I kept thinking that working for someone else and achieving nothing in life—that’s definitely not what I want. Plus, seeing a person who lives off this is also a strong pattern 😂 So after the army, I started developing my own business. I met an amazing girl, who became the motivation to grow, and at the same time I started studying trading specifically! Investment came after.

Consequences of Ignoring Stop-LossMy second challenge began on September 5 of this year with $2. Everything went according to plan. The analytics of the setups was 90% accurate. You can verify this from my posts. Deposit increased with every day by 100%-150%. I traded in manual mode, and my analysis and internal state gave me the illusion of risk control. I only set take profit and ignored stop loss. I waited out losing positions—I was sure the market would turn around. And it turned, in the direction I needed, allowing me to close with profit.

How a meta tapper led me into cryptoIt all started with the New Year holidays of 2024. The country was finishing off the New Year’s oливье, and I was sitting on the couch, and… endlessly tapping my finger on my smartphone screen. In the Kazakhstan TG community back then, they gathered a squad for Notcoin. In the chat there was an atmosphere of total celebration and collective madness: well-educated adults were, quite seriously, competing to see who could summon more virtual coins. Until that moment, I thought crypto was just a way to launder criminal money. Turns out, in reality, it’s much more interesting, and for me entering Web3 in 2024 happened through mini apps in Telegram.

In the year I became a graduate student, I was hearing about bitcoin, ether, and many other cryptocurrencies. In that same 2021 year, on Instagram, I read a comment about Binance. It said that the easiest way to buy crypto is on this platform. At first, I didn’t really believe it, but I was very curious and registered through the website. Later, I even installed an additional app on my phone. The hardest part, I think, was exchanging real money via P2P into the USDT currency. I was worried that the other party might not send the money. The good thing, though, was that the listed banks were banks in Kazakhstan. In addition, each seller had a rating. That is, it showed how many times the seller had sold the currency and how many times the sales were successful or unsuccessful. Later, I got used to it, and after reading the lessons from the Binance Academy here, I fully learned how to sell and buy. Using their deposits is very easy. Among them, I chose the person with the strongest rating and bought 100 USDT that year. My advice is not to keep all your funds in one platform. Even keeping everything in just one bank carries a risk. Overall, this platform is a good place for investment, because you look up information about all assets yourself. #BinanceKZ

It all started back in 2019. I was given $100 in Bitcoin. At the time, I didn’t understand anything about crypto. I set up some online wallet that search results showed as the top one; everything was in English, but I managed. I got the coins, held them for a week, and sold, thinking the price would go against me. Oh, if only I’d known back then...)) Around that time, I also registered on Binance. Honestly? I thought it was another “kitchen” like “binary options”)). But just in case, I registered. Time went by. There was a lot of noise everywhere about Bitcoin—people were filming documentaries, and Binance became the largest platform. And then, one day—about a year ago, in 2025, while cleaning my inbox of spam—I came across an email from Binance. Something like: “Free tokens, 3 USDT for old users.” And that’s how it started. I went to check, got it... and I came back for real. Today my approach is different: no fuss—just steady accumulation of Bitcoin as my capital for the long term. #BinanceKZ 👇 that very voucher

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE IN CRYPTO#BinanceKZ My first experience in crypto began about one and a half to two years ago. And, honestly, it started in a way that was nothing like what I imagined. Back then, I accidentally came across a Telegram channel. I don’t know if it still exists. I was looking at his technical analysis and forecasts. At that time, it seemed to me that the person truly “saw the market”: a lot of the predictions were hitting the mark, about 9 out of 10 by my impressions. Plus, it was the height of a bull market, so everything looked even more convincing.

My path into the world of CryptocurrenciesMy story of coming into crypto began back in 2015. At that time, on Twitter, I came across a short article about Bitcoin. Soon after, I was able to read the whitepaper on the website of the same name! The idea itself really appealed to me, and I started to dive deeper into the process of learning. At that point, so-called faucet sites already existed, where you could collect a little bit of satoshis, and that’s what I began doing. The first wallet and service I started using was Blockchain Wallet! It still works to this day, and on it I began to store my funds. The first platform and crypto exchange was Yobit, and considering that cryptocurrencies weren’t especially popular back then, different tokens could be obtained even for watching advertisements.

My first experience with cryptocurrencyI came into crypto altogether without any particular plan. Once, a friend was paying for something with USDT, and I asked what it was. Before that, for me crypto was about at the level of: I bought Bitcoin, forgot about it, and one day got rich Then I decided to try it myself. I put a little money on Binance. And, to be honest, at first I was more worried not because of the exchange rate, but that I might accidentally click somewhere wrong and the money would just disappear.

13 years in crypto, my story.Hi everyone! I’d like to tell you how my journey in crypto began. In 2010, on an old Motorola phone, I was sitting there and looking for something to read and study—books about how to become a better person. I was really into technology books; I even came across forums where people discussed Bitcoin, although at that time there wasn’t even a rumor of it. Back then, I didn’t attach any importance to it.

Went to the market and came back a crypto person 🍓💪My path into crypto is probably one of the most unusual. And the most important thing is that it’s not a made-up story, but real experience. I got into crypto not through an influencer’s ad or a welcome bonus, as it often happens. It was 2022. I kept hearing about crypto, especially after the much-discussed altseason of 2021. But there wasn’t any big trigger that would make me want to try it myself.

my first experience in that still dark forest of cryptocurrencies #BinanceKZ So, my story is short and not particularly interesting, but maybe I’ll start from the beginning. Back then, verification was not yet required in payment systems—except, of course, for banks. There were a lot of different online wallets, and they worked without any problems all over the world. Online casinos could be topped up easily through wallets. But then came the era of checks and blocks—this gray, merciless time when even crypto wallets started requiring verification. That’s when I had to learn how to buy crypto, because casinos can be funded only with crypto—and with any one you want. I didn’t have to look for long, since ads work around the clock, without stopping, everywhere. ))) I quickly ran into Binance and, without any major problems, bought my first crypto. Truth be told, when withdrawing I slightly messed up, but I quickly realized my mistakes and figured out the difficulties that now seem incredibly simple… What I can add: don’t be afraid to try something new and unfamiliar to you. Even if at some point it becomes difficult, remember there is customer support that many people ignore, but it will always help you with advice.

My introduction to crypto, or my first touch of it, began in 2011. Back then, neither Instagram nor Facebook existed—there were only forum sites. From those sites, I read up and tried Bitcoin mining on my old Toshiba laptop, but I didn’t understand at all what I was doing). I wrote to ask for help from the forum, but no one replied, so I ended up giving the laptop to my nephew. That’s how Bitcoin disappeared without a trace. In 2015, while on maternity leave, I came back to it again, but at that time I read JP Morgan’s article saying “Bitcoin has no value, it’s an unknown thing,” and I thought, “If even a big giant like that says it, then…”—so I dropped it again. So in 2017, after some meetups, I finally truly started. But it wasn’t successful right away—I didn’t know what a seed phrase was, gave it to a scammer, and had $2000 worth of ETH stolen. Back then, nobody taught anyone; everyone was making mistakes and getting confused )) Since then, more than 8 years have passed. I’ve seen the market hit the bottom three times. And now, because of that experience, I’ve reached the point where I can recognize a scam after just seeing it once)) My advice: never give your seed phrase to anyone, even if they claim to be “support service.” Start with a small amount. Invest money in crypto only if you’re prepared to lose it. #BinanceKZ

#BinanceKZ My crypto journey began back in 2022, when I was scrolling through TikTok and came across a crypto ad in a video. I became interested and started learning what crypto actually is. I saw NFT projects and decided to start investing in them little by little. I thought: you can grab them for distribution for 1$ and then sell them for $10. That’s awesome. But over time the NFT market faded away, and there were no more such sales. Then I started trading spot and futures little by little. Sometimes I earned, sometimes I lost. It was gradual. Somewhere I missed an opportunity to make good money because I was afraid to open a trade and lose funds. Overall, those were good times, and I was always able to make some extra cash. New projects and coins came along, while old ones were delisted. At one point I held a lot of the Burger token for a long time on spot, but after the news about that coin being delisted, the price crashed to rock bottom... There were situations like that too. Then I delved into the whole launchpad/launchpool topic. They fed me well for a while. It’s a shame they’re run so rarely these days. During all this, I understood that in trading the most important thing is to stick to a strategy and not fall for FOMO if you’ve missed a good life-changing moment.
