Bitcoin recorded its **third one-block reorganization in four weeks** at block height **966,500**, after SpiderPool and AntPool mined competing valid blocks. AntPool’s chain ultimately became canonical, leaving SpiderPool’s block orphaned. ([Bitcoin News][1])

A **one-block reorg is not, by itself, evidence of a Bitcoin attack or security failure**. These short reorganizations can occur when miners find competing blocks nearly simultaneously. The frequency is worth monitoring, but deeper or sustained reorgs would be a much more serious concern.
