Buy a house without selling your $BTC ? In Canada, that could be possible soon 🏠 Toronto-based APX Lending plans to launch Bitcoin-backed mortgages in Q1 2027. The waitlist is already open, and the company says it will be Canada’s first regulated provider of this kind. How it works: you pledge Bitcoin as collateral and get a loan for your down payment, or even the whole home. For example, to cover a $95,000 down payment, a buyer would pledge about $190,000 in BTC, roughly double the loan. The idea is simple: you keep your Bitcoin, so you don’t pay tax on selling it and don’t lose out if it grows later 📈 I share more stories like this in my community, from crypto and real estate to big money moves 👉 https://bit.ly/4jdykHo What we still don’t know: 🔸 Interest rates. APX’s current crypto loans cost 9.99–11.49% a year, but mortgage terms may be different 🔸 How far BTC can fall before the collateral gets sold. In APX’s current loans, part of the Bitcoin is sold automatically when the loan reaches 90% of the collateral value The company says it will publish all terms before launch. The coins will be held by BitGo and won’t be lent out. The US already has a similar case: lender Milo has issued over $100M in crypto-backed mortgages, with terms up to 30 years. So the market is clearly there 💡 Would you use your Bitcoin as collateral for a home or is that too risky with BTC’s volatility? 🤔 #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?#
