Binance, the world's largest exchange, confirmed roughly $6.3 billion in funds were affected in what analysts call the largest crypto hack ever recorded.
Here's what we actually know:
🔹 Attackers targeted Binance wallets across 10 blockchains — most funds moved in 20 minutes
🔹 $3 billion has been frozen on-chain so far
🔹 Tether froze ~$1.57B USDT | Circle froze $800M+ USDC
🔹 Binance has halted withdrawals and pledged to cover ALL hacking losses via company funds + SAFU
🔹 Suspected cause: a compromised DevOps engineer's laptop — no private key leak found
🔹 Intelligence firms TRM Labs & Chainalysis attribute it to North Korea's TraderTraitor
⚠️ Still unconfirmed: Binance has NOT officially named the attacker, and the status of roughly $3.3 billion remains unclear.
📌 CZ (major shareholder) said user funds are safe. Binance says deposits were unaffected.
We don't post hype. We post what the data shows. 🧠
