$STRK just handed back almost the entire October run.
Peak on Oct 11 was $0.1265. Today it's trading around $0.0426, down 10.5% in 24h and roughly 66% off that high. It now sits only about 2% above where it was 30 days ago. Today's range: $0.0415 – $0.0485.
What stands out to me is volume. About $7M traded today, versus a 30-day daily average near $23M. Price is bleeding without much participation from either side. That's not panic selling. It's buyers stepping away.
The project angle: the L1 narrative that drove the pump is still only research. Stakers backed exploring an independent layer one in a non-binding Snapshot poll (93.5% yes, closed Oct 22). StarkWare and the Foundation have formed a working group to draft a white paper, which then goes to another vote. L2BEAT has publicly pushed back on the idea. Meanwhile DeFiLlama puts Starknet TVL around $41M. The market priced the story first and is now waiting for substance.
Levels I'm watching: $0.0415 (today's low), then the $0.040 area from late September. To call this more than a dead-cat bounce, I'd want to see a reclaim of $0.047–0.048 on real volume.
Small cap, thin liquidity, recurring unlocks. Size accordingly.
Is the L1 white paper enough to bring buyers back, or is this narrative done?
Not financial advice.
