XRP whales are buying while retail waits. Is the market setting up for a bigger move?
XRP’s whale-retail spread has jumped from 33% to 45.8%, according to the data shared in the report.
Binance data also shows the spread rising from 35.6% on July 28 to 36.3% by September 9.
That tells us one thing: large transactions are becoming more active, even while XRP’s spot price remains stuck around $1.40–$1.43.
The interesting part is that whale buying is picking up while retail traders are still sitting on the sidelines.
If this accumulation continues, XRP could be setting up for a stronger move. But the real confirmation will come when price finally breaks out of this range.
My XRP price prediction: A breakout above the current range could open the door to a bigger move, but I’d want to see volume and momentum confirm it first.
Are whales positioning for the next XRP move, or is retail waiting for confirmation?
Market is showing mixed strength across the majors.
BNB is leading with a solid move, while XRP is showing the strongest gain on the board. ETH and SOL are also holding positive momentum, while BTC remains almost flat.
Interesting to see strength rotating across the market rather than moving in one direction.
The cost of betting on bigger $BTC moves is getting unusually cheap.
But there’s an interesting catch: Bitcoin has stayed relatively quiet, meaning volatility buyers have recently paid more than the actual price movement delivered.
Cheap volatility doesn’t always mean realized volatility follows.
What I like about Dusk is the way it approaches a real problem in financial markets.
Privacy is important, but regulated assets also need compliance and controlled transparency. Dusk is trying to bring both together with its privacy infrastructure and DuskEVM.
For me, this makes Dusk an interesting project to watch as RWA adoption grows.
Ever wondered what happens when privacy meets real-world finance? 👀
That’s where Dusk Network gets interesting.
It’s a Layer 1 built for financial applications, with confidential smart contracts and its XSC standard designed to bring sensitive financial activity on-chain without putting everything in public view.
Bitcoin has always been known for security, but what if that security could help protect other blockchains too?
That's the idea behind Babylon (BABY).
It allows BTC holders to stake their Bitcoin while keeping it in self-custody, without relying on bridges or wrapped assets.
Instead of moving your BTC away, Babylon lets it remain on the Bitcoin network while contributing to the security of Proof of Stake chains.
If this approach continues to gain traction, it could expand Bitcoin's role beyond being a store of value and make it a foundational security layer for the broader crypto ecosystem.
