19,998 USDC has been sitting at one BNB Chain address since February. The sender says it is theirs. On BNB Chain, nobody can move it. The address belongs to an Abstract Global Wallet, the smart-contract wallet built into the Abstract network. On Feb 12 at 07:25 UTC+8 the funds landed at that same address on BNB Chain. The address string matched, but the wallet itself was never deployed there. We checked: the address holds no contract code on BNB Chain, and the 19,998 USDC is still in it. The sender says the Abstract Foundation told them recovery is technically impossible. On Oct 25 at 21:39 UTC+8 they posted a public bounty: $15,000 to anyone who can get it back. This matters more now because Abstract is winding down. Its migration page says users have until Dec 15 to move funds out. That is 50 days away. If you hold funds in an Abstract Global Wallet, only use the official exits, migrate.abs.xyz or the native bridge. Keep a little ETH on Abstract for gas and move it last. Native withdrawals can take up to 24 hours, so don't leave it to the final week. And never paste an AGW address as a receiving address on another chain. $USDC $ETH #CryptoSecurity #Abstract NFA. CoinDCX has now put a number on its TRON outflow: 15.99M USDT, lost from an old wallet it had called retired. Tether froze 2.21M of it. That is 13.8%. On Oct 21 at 23:35 UTC+8, the old address TQKJQ sent 15,819,002 USDT in one transfer to a new wallet, which also took about 172,000 USDT from 39 smaller addresses. By 11:22 UTC+8 on Oct 22 that wallet had sent everything on to six addresses. Tether blacklisted nine linked addresses at 06:45 UTC+8 on Oct 23, about 19 hours after the first wallet was empty. Those nine hold 2,212,850 USDT. By our math, about 13.78M, or 86.2%, had already moved on. In a blog post on Oct 25, CoinDCX said the loss hit "old, deprecated wallet infrastructure which had unknown vulnerabilities", that its sweeping service had failed for a period, and that it absorbed the loss. It says customer balances are fully accounted for. On-chain records read by CryptoWatchDesk show the same old address forwarding USDT as late as May 2026. South Korea's 22% crypto tax was written into law in 2020 to start in 2022. It is now heading for its fourth delay, to 2029. A presidential office official told Seoul Economic Daily on Sunday that the discussion "has moved toward delaying" the tax, which is still set to start on Jan 1, 2027. Hankyoreh was told the same. The main reason given is the US: it only joins the OECD's crypto data-sharing system, CARF, in 2029, so taxing now would fall mostly on users of Korean exchanges. The start date has already moved from 2022 to 2023, then 2025, then 2027. A 2029 start would come eight years after the law was passed. Yearly gains from selling or lending coins like Bitcoin, after losses are netted, are taxed at 22% above a 2.5M won deduction. A trader who makes 10M won (about $7,550) in a year would owe 1.65M won, about $1,245, or 16.5% of the profit. Nothing is final. Parliament still has to amend the Income Tax Act. Bills moving the start to Jan 1, 2029 are already filed and both main parties back a delay. Seoul Economic Daily expects the change in November's tax review. Until that vote, Jan 1, 2027 is still the date in the law. $BTC #CryptoTax #Bitcoin NFA. DYOR.

Keystone spotted someone inside its website on Oct 20. The public heard about it at 01:59 UTC+8 on Oct 25, and one buyer says the scammers called first. The hardware wallet maker says that after checking its Shopify API activity, it confirmed on Oct 23 that a third party had taken customer shipping data: names, contact details, shipping addresses and order details, including items and prices. Card and bank details, recovery phrases, private keys and wallet passwords were not exposed, per Keystone. About 18 hours before that statement, an X user posted that a caller on a spoofed Montreal police number had read back details matching their Keystone order from 2024. That date is the awkward part. Keystone's own privacy policy says it erases the order information of any customer who hasn't ordered within the last 180 days. Under that rule, a 2024 order with no newer purchase shouldn't still be on file. If the caller's data did come from this breach, older buyers are in scope too. Keystone hasn't confirmed either way, and it hasn't said how many customers were hit. A detailed report is promised "in the coming days." A hardware wallet keeps your $BTC keys offline. It can't stop someone who knows your name and address from calling about a "refund" or mailing you a "replacement" built to steal your seed. If you ever bought from Keystone, treat any call, text, email or parcel offering a refund, a new device or a fix as a scam. Never type your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. #CryptoSecurity #HardwareWallet NFA. DYOR.

HSBC has HKD 80.8M of its new RedCoin stablecoin in circulation, about $10.3M. Averaged across PayMe's 3.3 million users, that's roughly HKD 24 each. RedCoin (RCHKD) went live on PayMe on Friday under an HKMA stablecoin licence. HSBC posts circulation and reserves daily. Today's page shows a 7-day change of HKD +79.5M, which puts last week's figure near HKD 1.27M, from a staff pilot of nearly 100 users. Reserves are HKD 81.8M, all in cash. That's exactly HKD 1M more than the coins issued, a buffer of about 1.2%. It runs on HSBC's own ledger, not a public chain, and coins can't move between PayMe and the HSBC banking app. Wallet activation is rolling out "in the coming days", per HSBC. For scale, USDT's market cap is about $182B, around 17,700 times bigger. The first independent attestation of the reserves is due after Q4 2026. HSBC says RedCoin is only offered through PayMe and, later, its own banking app, so any RCHKD token on a DEX or another platform isn't HSBC's. #Stablecoin #HongKong NFA. DYOR.

An Argentine federal judge has dismissed the LIBRA criminal case. Judge Marcelo Martínez de Giorgi cleared President Javier Milei, his sister Karina, token adviser Hayden Davis and eight others on Friday, finding the reported events "do not fall under a legal category" and no criminally relevant deception was proven. None of the 11 were ever formally questioned. Quick recap. Milei posted about LIBRA on X on Feb 14, 2025. The Solana memecoin ran to about $5, then lost more than 95% of its value, while wallets linked to its creator withdrew around $99M, per CoinDesk. Where it stands today: CoinGecko has LIBRA at about $0.0025, roughly 99.9% below that peak. Its biggest DexScreener pool holds under $5K in liquidity and traded less than $500 in the last 24 hours (checked 02:43 UTC+8, Oct 25). The case may not be fully over. The prosecutor asked for the dismissal and isn't expected to appeal, but investors removed as plaintiffs in July are challenging that at Argentina's Federal Criminal Cassation Court. Franklin Templeton now has about $200M of fund shares on the XRP Ledger. Every one of them sits in a single wallet. On Oct 22 the issuer sent two batches of 72,184,793 sgBENJI to that wallet, $75M each at a recorded share price of $1.039. sgBENJI is a share in Franklin's Singapore-domiciled US dollar short-term money market fund. Supply on the XRP Ledger is now 192.7M shares, about 4x what it was before. We read the wallet's full history. It was opened on Aug 31, took a $1,000 test buy on Sep 2, then $50M on Sep 10 at $1.0346 a share, then this week's $150M. That's $200,001,000 paid in, worth about $200.2M at the latest price. The move from $1.0346 to $1.0390 in 42 days works out to roughly 3.8% a year, which is the fund's yield building into the share price. An Ethereum ICO wallet sent 1,000 ETH, about $2.38M, on Friday. Two minutes and 12 seconds later, scammers started faking that same transfer in its history. Lookonchain flagged the sender as an ICO buyer who got 100,000 ETH at $0.31 each and called the move a sale. At that price, the 1,000 ETH cost $310. The wallet still holds 11,348.88 ETH, about $27M at $2,382. We pulled the wallet's history. The real transfer went to an address starting 0xC234 and ending 14bF at 03:29 UTC+8 on Oct 24. In the next 8.5 hours, 29 fake "1,000 ETH" token transfers landed in its history from 10 copycat token contracts, some spelling ETH with Cyrillic letters. 28 of them point to lookalike addresses that start with 0xC2 and end in 14bF. Three more lookalikes sent the wallet 0 or 0.000000001 ETH, so they sit in its normal transaction list too. The bet is that next time, the holder copies an address from recent history and picks a fake. The same wallet drew lookalikes after a 106 ETH send on Sep 30. The bet is that next time, the holder copies an address from recent history and picks a fake. The same wallet drew lookalikes after a 106 ETH send on Sep 30.

If you paste addresses from your history, check every character, or send only to a saved address book entry.

Bitcoin Core just changed how it handles security bugs, and it puts a clock on anyone still running an old node. Until now, a fixed medium or high severity bug stayed quiet until the last affected version reached end of life, which usually meant about a year. That gave node runners time to upgrade before the details came out. The policy update merged on Oct 22 adds a new category: bugs that are easy to find, including ones an AI can turn up with a simple prompt. For those, the plan is a point release for every maintained version as soon as possible, with the advisory published alongside it. No long wait. The reasoning is simple: if anyone can find the bug in minutes, keeping it secret protects nobody. The catch is that only v29, v30 and v31 are maintained right now. By our count from the latest Bitnodes snapshot, 6,126 of 21,446 reachable Bitcoin Core nodes, about 29%, still run v28 or older. Those nodes won't get these patches, and the bug details will be public faster than before. This isn't a $BTC price story. It's a reminder that running a node means updating it. If yours shows v28 or lower, now is a good time to move to a maintained release. #Bitcoin #BitcoinCore NFA. DYOR.

Heatbit's new Bitwater is an $899 heating element that mines $BTC while it heats your water tank. Out of the box it mines solo, and at today's difficulty a 34 TH/s machine finds a block about once every 560 years on average. It swaps into the 1-inch element port on standard 30 to 80 gallon tanks in the US and Canada. Heatbit lists up to 34 TH/s at up to 600 W, 20 BM1370 chips, and shipping in Q1 2027. The $899 price is for the first Genesis batch; later batches go up to $1,299. Solo on the Heatbit pool is the default setting. If a block hits, the whole reward is yours, but the odds at 34 TH/s are roughly 1 in 560 for any given year. Pointed at a pool like Luxor instead, the same hashrate earns about $1.25 a day at today's numbers, around $455 a year. By our math that's roughly 2 years to earn back $899 running flat out, or about 2.5 years at 80% runtime. Price, difficulty and pool fees will all move that, and the next difficulty adjustment is currently tracking about +5%. The heat isn't wasted, which is the whole pitch. Just know which mode it's in before you count on the income. #Bitcoin #BitcoinMining NFA. DYOR.

PEPE traded $548M in the last 24 hours. Shiba Inu, a coin worth 41% more, traded $48M. PEPE is up 13% on the day and 24% on the week, per CoinGecko. CoinDesk found no clear catalyst behind the run, and the rest of the meme sector hasn't come along. Over 30 days DOGE is down 20%, BONK 19%, FLOKI 18% and SHIB 16%. PEPE is up 4%. We lined the two up. PEPE's market cap of $2.13B is 71% of SHIB's $3.0B, so it would need about a 41% move with SHIB standing still to pass it. Measured against its December 2024 high of $0.00002803, PEPE is still 82% down and would need roughly 5.5x to get back. Leverage hasn't chased it yet. On Hyperliquid, PEPE perp funding is sitting at the 0.00125% hourly base rate, the same as SHIB, BONK and FLOKI, with no premium over spot. The buying so far is in spot volume, and longs aren't paying up for it. Flat funding after a 24% week means no crowded long to unwind. It also means there's no catalyst holding the price, so watch whether volume stays near $500M into the weekend. $PEPE $SHIB #PEPE #Memecoins NFA. DYOR.

Starknet's L1 research poll passed with 93.52%. 3,236 wallets voted, but 50 of them cast 89% of the voting power. The Snapshot poll closed on Oct 22. It asked whether StarkWare and the Starknet Foundation should research turning Starknet into an independent post-quantum L1. Yes took 457.6M STRK of voting power, No took 22.4M and Neutral 9.3M. We pulled the votes from Snapshot and ranked them. The top 20 wallets carried 47% of the weight on their own. The other 3,186 wallets added up to about 11%. Total weight was 489M STRK, about 6.4% of the 7.59B STRK in circulation. A staking poll on the same Snapshot space in March drew 350 votes and 492M STRK. Nine times more voters this time, and almost the same weight. The poll is non-binding and StarkWare abstained. Starknet stays an Ethereum L2 for now, STRK stays the token and the bridges to Ethereum stay open. Any real move needs a separate binding vote once the research is done. On these numbers, that binding vote will be settled by a few dozen wallets. $STRK #Starknet #Ethereum NFA. DYOR.

Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade was due on the Hoodi testnet on Oct 26. Core developers pulled that date on Thursday, and there is no new one. The holdup is EIP-8037, a change to how gas is charged for creating new state. ChainSecurity says it has already found 13 live contracts the new gas rules could hit, per CryptoSlate. The weak spot is failure handling: an attacker could force an out-of-gas failure that a contract then records as final, so a valid withdrawal or batch can't be retried. Sepolia has run Glamsterdam since Oct 6. Hoodi is the last testnet left in line, and before the delay developers had Dec 1, Dec 8 and Dec 9 on the list of mainnet dates. We checked the last upgrade. Fusaka went live on Hoodi on Oct 28, 2025 and on mainnet 36 days later, on Dec 3. Oct 26 to Dec 1 is also exactly 36 days, so the earliest date had no slack at all. On the same gap, Hoodi would need to fork by Nov 3 to keep Dec 9. The Ethereum Foundation says ETH holders don't need to do anything. Glamsterdam was first aimed at the first half of 2026. On the Fusaka timeline, a Hoodi fork after Nov 3 rules out all three December dates. $ETH #Ethereum #Glamsterdam NFA. DYOR.

Five listed bitcoin miners moved power to AI and mined 6,188 fewer BTC between Jan 1 and Oct 19 than over the same stretch of 2025. Mining still got harder. CryptoQuant's numbers: IREN, Bitfarms, Cipher, Core Scientific and TeraWulf went from 13,263 BTC to 7,075, down 47%, as they signed big AI and HPC leases. Five miners that stayed with bitcoin (MARA, CleanSpark, Riot, HIVE and American Bitcoin) went from 20,085 to 23,306. That is 3,221 more, about half of what the AI group gave up. The network didn't slow down. Difficulty rose 5.92% on Oct 16 to 140.58T, the biggest jump since late June and the highest level since early March, per mempool.space. Its current estimate for the next adjustment around Oct 30 is roughly +3.6%. CryptoQuant has 30-day average hashrate about 8.8% below its all-time high, after sitting 18.3% under it in August. So the hashpower the AI movers switched off has been replaced, and then some, by machines outside that group. For $BTC holders, a harder network is good news. For miners still running, every coin just got more expensive to produce. #Bitcoin #BitcoinMining NFA. DYOR.

At that rate, a $10,000 XMR long pays about $20 a day to stay open. Hyperliquid charges funding every hour, and its current XMR rate of about 0.0295% comes to roughly $71 a day on the same size, or 0.7% of the position. Funding resets fast, and these rates can halve by tonight. XMR is also still about 20% under its January high near $799. Aerodrome and Velodrome are now one exchange called Aero, and every VELO converts to 0.044 AERO. The rate comes from the split. Aerodrome holders get 94.5% of the new AERO supply and Velodrome holders get 5.5%. Spread that 117M AERO across 2.66B VELO and you land on 0.044. At about $0.796 per AERO, the rate values one VELO at roughly $0.0350. VELO trades near $0.0348, a gap of about 0.6%. After gas and the hop from OP Mainnet to Base, there's likely nothing left to arbitrage. In dollars, the whole Velodrome side is worth about $93M of new AERO. Aerodrome holders get about $1.6B. Nothing converts on its own. Holders have to use the upgrade portal, and the swap can't be undone. Old emissions stopped at launch, Oct 22 at 08:00 UTC+8. There's no deadline yet, but the old front ends may close later. Upgrade only from aerodrome.finance or velodrome.finance and ignore DM links. $AERO #Aero #DeFi NFA. DYOR.

My usual research flow lately: See something interesting in the market → describe a quick idea to Binance AI Pro → review the workflow it builds → paper trade it to see how the logic actually behaves. It’s not replacing judgment. It’s just speeding up the “turn this thought into something I can actually test” part. You still approve everything and control the funding.
