🥞 On the PancakeSwap side, I think there are a few important developments that should be looked at together: the latest CAKE burns, “The Flip” proposal, and #CZ drawing attention to the proposal.
🔥 First, let’s look at the weekly data.
According to the latest figures, a total of 529,000 CAKE was burned. At the same time, around 150,000 new CAKE was minted, meaning the net supply decreased by approximately 379,000 CAKE over the week.
📉 So during that week, CAKE burns were well above new issuance and the supply decreased on a net basis.
The burn breakdown was as follows:
🔸 AMM v2: 270K CAKE
🔸 AMM v3: 192K CAKE
🔸 AMM Infinity: 41.3K CAKE
🔸 Other sources: 26K CAKE
💡 What caught my attention here is this: CAKE already had a net deflationary week, and now The Flip proposal is also on the table.
🚀 If the proposal is approved, daily CAKE emissions would be reduced from 22,500 to 7,000. That would mean an approximately 69% reduction in new CAKE issuance.
🏦 The 7,000 CAKE issued daily would then be allocated to Pantry, PancakeSwap’s new ecosystem growth fund.
💧 Under the same proposal, LPs on PancakeSwap v3 and Infinity would also receive 88% of swap fees, up from around 66–68% on most pools. CAKE burns on v2 would continue.

I think the message PancakeSwap is trying to send here is quite clear:
